Food was good but maybe the menu & flavors aren't that appealing to our pallette & a bit pricey for what it is. French onion soup was a highlight
Service & atmosphere was good, but food could be better done. Duck confit was dry & slightly overcooked, French onion soup tasted more like beef broth with added onions, lacked depth & richness. Beef cheek poutine was good.
Very luckily we walked in & BSM found us a table upstairs. Florence was exceptional in helping us make some fine choices from the menu. Delightful! Following a French 75 & Negroni, we ate Onion Soup, Beef Cheeks & the Seafood Bisque accompanied by Florence's'spot-on' wine recommendation. As a final treat we took the Tarte Tatin, amazing! What a find! Thank you Florence!
We had just gotten into town & were looking for somewhere to wait for the snow to stop. Stumbled across this gem. The French onion soup was incredible. Lovely staff. Adorable dining room. We will make sure to come back next time we are in town!
french onion soup was superb. ceviche was not to our taste but wasn't bad. duck confit & the seafood stew were pretty good too. huge selection of wine. my only complaint would be the creme brulee was too sweet, custard too watery, & the caramel layer was too thick. otherwise everything was wonderful. the service was a delight!
Authentic French food in a cozy & warm atmosphere. We have been here twice, the first time I had the cassoulet, & last night I had the oso bucco & each were satisfying & magnifique!! The service has been consistently friendly & respectful. We will be back & likely be regulars.
We had a great experience dining in at this restaurant! The service was amazing, & the food was of good quality. We had a french onion soup, the beef carpaccio & the burratina pizza.
Fantastic food & top notch service. Our server was excellent & personable with both French & English guests. Would definitely return & suggest it to others. Merci beaucoup!
We had just arrived in Old Quebec City after a 7hr drive from St. John NB & we were hungry! We picked the perfect place to satiate our appetites. Each bite was a flavour explosion. We had the French onion soup & beef carpaccio to start. Our mains were the duck confit, the seafood stew, & the beef cheek; each cooked to perfection & presented so beautifully. Our waiter was amazing & provided excellent service & recommendations.
