Service in general was ok. Not exceptional food for its high price though. Ok if close by.
The food & service were one of my most memorable french dining experiences. Every course was perfect. Best onion soup of my life!
Everything was perfect. We started with escargots, mussels, & French onion soup. Then we shared the duck & chicken which were both prepared so so well. Duck was definitely a top 2 for me having eaten duck at many restaurants. Not a lot of seating inside but very special decor. For lunch, just two staff & one chef. Made us feel at home.
Food was delicious! Everything was extremely tasty & good portions. My only complaint & the reason for 4* is the wine pours were so small that I thought it was a mistake! When I ordered my second glass, I mentioned something but the server said this was normal?!?! I dine out often enough that it seemed like maybe 4 oz. Perhaps I would recommend a bottle if we dined here again since this seemed so unreasonable. The steak, cod & French Onion soup were excellent. Otherwise the restaurant was very good!
Excellent French bistro with well executed cocktails & French classic dishes. • Everyone ordered a different dish (boudin, canard confit, cassoulet, joue de boeuf, ris de veau, crème brûlée, Tartarin, etc.) & all were greatly satisfied. Tasty generous potions, friendly service in a cozy yet quirky atmosphere. • Overall great evening appreciated by all. Un gros merci à toute l'équipe!
During a visit to Quebec last week, my husband & I had dinner at this restaurant. It was the best meal we had during our stay. When we arrived we were initially assigned a table next to a speaker. The music was too loud for us.They immediately gave us another table where we could hear the lovely music they were playing (mostly French) & still be able to have a conversation. The steak frites I had & the seafood stew my husband had were delicious, well seasoned & nicely presented, as well as the tarte tatin we shared for dessert. I wanted to have a glass of red wine with dinner but was not familiar with any of the wines on their list. Our server asked me to describe the kind of wine I like &, based on that, she recommended one from Spain, which was perfect. The ambiance of this place was very hospitable. Our server was exceptional. We look forward to our next visit.
One of our tour guides recommended this bistro & it was very good. The French onion soup & steak & frites did not disappoint. Nice informal upscale atmosphere & friendly service.
Fantastic French bistro food. We both got different rabbit confit dishes. Meat fell right off the bone! Lovely waitress gave us excellent wine pairing recommendations. Finished with the delicious apple tart á la mòde 🤩 The outdoor seating was great, & there was live music performance in the plaza nearby.
Great food & atmosphere! Got the blood pudding & French onion soup Both were excellent!!
