The food was large portion for the amount that was paid. Very casual French eatery. We came after visiting Quebec City & this is conveniently located in Old Quebec City & walkable from most attractions. The food did take a while, but the place also filled up really quickly. Everything tasted great & would definitely swing by in the future if we're ever in the area.
We had made reservations here for our final night in Quebec. We ate inside the cute cozy restaurant. Helpful, sweet table service. 3 of us ordered the poulet which was moist & flavorful. 2 bowls of soup: French onion & the soup du jour. The fries alongside the chicken were perfect salty goodness. 1 order of moules which was also served with a large amount of fries. More moules than we could eat! Dessert was on the suggestion of our waitress-baked apples with caramel, crust & a huge scoop of ice cream (tarte tatin) Plenty to share. Only complaint was the Canadian Club Whiskey was $22 & the pour was tiny. Loved this bistro. Make sure to get a reservation-many were turned away at the door.

Lovely meal! Started with the french onion soup then moved to two kinds of mussels. Really appreciated Camille's advice on the drinks & where to go once we finished our meal! Thanks!
Their lunch menu is a great bang for the buck! A great little french bistro ambience,
The French onion soup with foie gras was delicious. We had the chicken & the braised beef cheeks & it was délicieux. The service was great.
Wow! Great little spot with tasty food. The French Onion Soup absolutely lived up to the hype in other reviews & I really enjoyed the Cassoulet as the stew perfectly tied together the different textures & flavours. One of my friends also really enjoyed the Tartiflette, but overall everyone in our party was happy with the meal.

Dined in a party of four. Sat downstairs in a cozy, inviting room. Sound system pumped out French popular music from Charles Trenet to Joe Dassin. Lovely setting for dining in Quebec.
Food was excellent. Started with mussels & escargot, both prepared well. The sous vide duck confit was outstanding. The accompany salad was fresh & nicely dressed with some brightness added by pickled vegetables. But do save room for the tarte tartin. Ooh la la. Oh, & the wines for the price were exceptional.

Sad that I didn't make 2 reservations for this restaurant. Best French onion soup I have ever had in my life hands down. Reasonably priced & huge portions. Can't wait to come back

The French Onion soup & the Foie Gras were truly outstanding! The Oso Bucco was good, as the meat was cooked to perfection but the pasta was clumpy! My mum said her Seafood Stew was good, not great. We sadly had no room for dessert as the servings are quite generous/large. The ambience was a disappointment & not as on the website. The place needs a bit of TLC & work/remodeling
