The maple & pistachio lattes were delightful, & our group tried a variety of drinks, including coffee, hot chocolate, & tea, with plenty of dairy-free options available. While the treats were hit or miss in a city with so many good bakeries, the beverages & the cozy, picturesque location were the true highlights.
Super cute little spot in the palace royale square. That's where the charm ends- the service was so so. The lattes were okay (much better our first day at Les Cafes du Soleil). Everyone around us got plates & actual mugs while we got paper bags & to go cups. That's fine but the chocolate croissant was a joke (see photo). The apple turnover was good but so cold- all the food was very cold. I would not recommend or go back.
Delicious breakfast & wonderful outdoor view at Place Royale. Got on a cruise ship immediately following. Once onboard, even though there is endless food, we opted to debark & walked backed to Cafe La Maison for a second chocolate almond croissant. Absolutely delish! Friendly staff. Looking forward to returning.
decent option for breakfast. chocolate croissant i didn't find that great. Almond one was good. crowded, difficult to find a spot.
This cafe is located in le petit champlain. Excellent coffee & pastries (ordered chocolate cake & an almond croissant). All made to perfection. The outdoor seating is gorgeous. Beautiful scenery, it's as though you are situated in a beautiful European town.
Delicious coffee at the plaza in Old Quebec. Location was perfect while sipping some latte & enjoying some pastries. My kids enjoyed their cinnabon bun & chocolate cake.
Stopped this morning for coffee & a few croissants (butter, almond, & chocolate). The coffee & the croissants were excellent. I plan to stop by every day while in Quebec City.
Walked in for 4 coffees 3 hot chocolates, & pastries for the kids. Needed to use the toilet - there's an "Out of Order / Hors Usage" sign. However, it's not out of order for the staff...! 🤔 In this high tourist neighborhood, the cashier should smile a little.
this cafe is pretty good, a bit higher price than a less touristy area but not too bad. 6 CAD for a croissant is pretty decent. since the croissants are huge & stuffed to the brim with almonds & chocolate, it tasted a good as it looked.
