The coffee & the croissants were excellent. I plan to stop by every day while in Quebec City.
La Maison Smith Café in Old Quebec is a charming & cozy spot, nestled among the cobblestone streets & historic architecture. With rustic wooden furnishings, soft lighting, & a tasteful blend of vintage & contemporary decor, it offers a warm & inviting atmosphere. Perfect for enjoying freshly brewed coffee, delicious pastries, or simply soaking in the ambiance, this café is an ideal stop during a leisurely stroll through the picturesque area.
Great coffee, quiche, & croissants. They move quickly when taking your order so a tad unnerving. Sitting outside on the Place Royal while having breakfast really can't be beat. I feel like it's a must do in Québec.
Was excited to have real croissant in Quebec city given that I am very careful with my carbs. So did the research, & went to this place for breakfast. Beautiful location. Nice ambiance. Great coffee. Food: disappointment! The quiche was microwaved (probably from the day before)! The croissant was definiyely NOT fresh from that morning, was soggy, not the way you expect it from real French bakery! Now feeling angry for consuming all these calories without the pleasure I anticipated
Excellent place to walk to if you are staying nearby. The coffee is great. Lots to see nearby. Quick & friendly.
Amazing atmosphere & service with a smile. Amazing coffee served by great people that seem to really enjoy their job. This is a must for anyone visiting Old Quebec.
