Fabulous little café for breakfast. The pastries are amazing. We had a quiche Lorraine & a coffee which were just perfect for a quick breakfast. Always crowded, but for good reason. & the line for service moves quickly.
We stopped for breakfast & ordered a chocolate croissant. After waiting for a long time, the staff told us it was out of stock. However, we noticed that customers who ordered after us were still being served the same item. This was disappointing & felt unfair. Considering the price, the experience didn't feel worth it.

We got matcha with soy, breakfast bagel, & butter croissant. Everything tastes amazing, & actually the matcha is one of the best that I've had - nice foam even with soy milk. The window view with the chapel is also a plus.
Amazing café! I was visiting from Ottawa, & this was the perfect place for breakfast. The mochaccino, hot chocolate, & butter croissant were all delicious. The staff were super friendly & made me feel very welcome, despite my limited French. The view outside the café with the church was the cherry on top. A wonderful experience overall!
Stopped by for breakfast & had a latte, maple latte, chocolatine, & a chicken sandwich. The food & drinks were good, nothing extraordinary, but solid for a touristy area.
The café itself is tiny but cozy, & the view is what makes it special: right in front of the church, with snowy weather & people passing by. It created a perfect winter-morning vibe, & I really enjoyed that atmosphere.
⭐ 4.3/5 - Nice spot mainly for the view & ambiance.
We tried this café for breakfast & ordered a plain croissant, an almond croissant, Portuguese tarts, & a cappuccino. The croissants were excellent, among the best we had during our trip to Quebec. The coffee was decent as well.
It's probably the most beautifully situated café in the lower town. Situated by a public square & a church, it's perfect for people-watching or simply enjoying a sunny day.
We weren't looking for a'big' breakfast this morning. This was just the right spot! We shared a slice of quiche Lorraine & a croissant. The Americano style coffee were on point! Even with my high school level French, I was happy to connect the whole transaction in the local tongue. Happy traveler!!!
Delicious breakfast & wonderful outdoor view at Place Royale. Got on a cruise ship immediately following. Once onboard, even though there is endless food, we opted to debark & walked backed to Cafe La Maison for a second chocolate almond croissant. Absolutely delish! Friendly staff. Looking forward to returning.
