After a long day at the Falls, we were looking for somewhere good to eat nearby. Casa Calzone came up as a top rated restaurant nearby & all the positive reviews swayed me to stopping here! Their terrace looked like the perfect place to end a long day, especially with the nice weather. As soon as we walked in around 5:20pm, the staff greeted us, then asked if we had a reservation. We did not, but the restaurant was practically empty & they had, without exaggeration, at least a dozen tables free. The staff member then recommended that, in the future, we should be sure to make a reservation because the dining room tends to fill up quickly. But, as I said, the restaurant was practically empty. There was one party of 8 or so that was seated on the terrace & then another small group inside the restaurant, & that's it. Tons of empty tables. By some miracle, my party of two was able to be seated. We opted to sit on the terrace & were quickly given menus & water. Prior to arriving at the restaurant, we had thoroughly reviewed their menu so we already knew exactly what we wanted to eat, but then I was nearly swayed by their Carbonara, which sounded delicious! I told the waiter that I was in between two choices & he gave me his thoughts on both options, that the Carbonara was more creamy & the Hipster had a great balance of sweet & salty. Upon his words, I opted for their Hipster Calzone & my partner got the Taco Calzone, so we could both try dishes that they were named after--a Calzone. As we were waiting, they also brought out an amuse-bouche of bruschetta, which was a nice surprise. From that, it took less than 15 minutes to receive our Calzones, which looked absolutely gorgeous. The Hipster had a pile of caramelized onions on top of it & a perfectly browned crust. The Taco Calzone had a dollop of sour cream & a dollop of salsa, & then the waiter came over with a syringe of hot sauce, recommending that the Taco is best served with hot sauce injected inside. What an experience! My partner said the Taco Calzone was very good, packed with flavours. When I tried a bite, I found it heavy, but delicious. The Hipster Calzone was good, but the cheese flavours overpowered everything, in my opinion. I will say, the dough was the best part for me, crispy & soft, though I don't think there was any bacon in my Calzone. With my meal, I also had a glass of wine, the Artisan, which I do not recommend, unless you like dry whites. Overall, my experience at this restaurant was good. The staff were very attentive, providing a fan to cool down the terrace, & routinely checking in on all their clientele. The food also came out swiftly & deliciously. I am excited to go back here & try some of their other foods--with a reservation this time!

Tout simplement parfait ! Mettez beaucoup de sauce piquante (pas trop piquante), appréciez l'ambiance feutrée & dessinez sur les murs. Le personnel est super chaleureux. Pour une première date ou une 100e ! Le staff a toujours l'air heureux de venir travailler. Vous avez des enfants, ça s'adapte très bien avec les banquettes & les doudous pour un confort maximisé. On peut dessiner aussi sur la nappe ! Pour le bonheur des grands comme les petits. ♥️ On aime tellement qu'on a décidé de se fiancer ici. Les murs peuvent en témoigner. Tout plein d'amour pour ce resto & dans ce resto ! 🥰🥹

Amazing Calzone restaurant with amazing chefs. Taco Calzone with injection of special hot sauce & vegetarian calzone & Quebec special maple syrup cake dessert. Very cozy atmosphere with nice music.

Première visite dans ce Resto. Nous étions un petit groupe, puis nos pizzas étaient remplie d'eau. C'était l'humidité ou l'eau des légumes ou dans la sauce... Nous étions assis sur le bord des fenêtres, puis on gelait. J'ai gardé mon manteau sur les épaules tout le long du souper. Nous sommes partis du Resto pour prendre le café & le dessert ailleurs.

Pour la Xième fois, je visitais Casa Calzone ce midi. L'accueil y est toujours aussi chaleureux, service impeccable & les Calzones excellents. Ce midi ce fut le Calzone Tacos injecté de sauce Casa, quel délice. Pour les gourmands, les épicuriens & ceux à la recherche d'un produit différent, visitez ce restaurant.
