We had the saucisse (hot dog) poutine & the poutinium (with onion rings). The fries were fresh & they added the perfect amount of cheese & gravy. Both were awesome! The Staff was very nice & very patient. I highly reccomend giving the place a shot.

Ça fait un moment que j'hésitais à aller essayer leur poutine… & hier soir, je suis enfin allé pour la première fois. Wow. Honnêtement, je m'attendais à ce que ce soit bon, mais pas à ce point-là.

J'en ai mangé des poutines dans ma vie, un peu partout, & celle-là est clairement dans une catégorie à part. La sauce est parfaite, les frites sont croustillantes juste comme il faut, puis le fromage… délicieux, vraiment.

En plus, les deux employés sur place étaient tellement sympathiques. Puis l'endroit a gardé l'authenticité de Gaston, ce qui ajoute vraiment au charme. On dirait que t'es dans une place iconique qui a une vraie âme.

Si je devais la noter sur 10? 10/10 sans hésiter. C'est le genre de poutine que tu finis & tu te dis : ok, c'est ça une vraie poutine. Je vais clairement retourner pour essayer la poutine italienne, & le hot-dog Chigan Michigan aussi. Je reviens toujours pas de comment c'était bon. 🔥🤯

Amazing, quaint spot with excellent service & fantastic food! Can't speak for the poutine, but the burgers & hotdogs are out of this world!
Gaston is most certainly a gastronomic master of the Casse-Croûte arts, thanks to the guys behind the counter, see you soon!

Ils redonnent leurs lettres de noblesse populaire au Casse-croute. Goûtez leur hot-dog ( + siracha) & vous serez convaincu ! Les 2 gars derrière le comptoir sont des machine & leur clientèle, très en boisson, passé 22h, est la seule chose qu on peut leur reprocher !

The kind of whole in the wall place I love to find. Great poutine & awesome to watch them cook it right in front of you. Also have very reasonably priced hot dogs.

Hot dogs are delicious, I took their Michigan & regular hot dog , both are amazing , the chef is taking his time to cook food & delivering it quickly, people here are very kind & helpful, I can't speak French ..they explained everything clearly in English. I would definitely recommend this place.

Excellent hole in the wall place for late night eats & poutine. The Michigan hot dog was incredible! Poutine au sauce brun was delicious, not too salty, fries were perfect. Highly recommend!
