It was so good for lunch that we went back the same night for dinner! I had the croque monsieur for lunch & it was picture-perfect as well as tasty. It was served with the most delicious yet simply salad verte. For dinner I had the beef bourguignon & again, perfect & delicious. I loved the portion sizes of everything - just right. The place itself is very cute & intimate & perfectly darkened. The service was friendly & excellent. We hope to be able to return!
I loved everything about this place - from the great onion soup & snails to the delightful potato/salmon entree. The cozy ambiance makes it a perfect spot for lunch.

We were 7 & all of us enjoyed our meal. Our servers were charming. Coffee very good, good choice of beer. I would without hesitation recommend this resto for a lunch.

If you're visiting Quebec City please mark Le Temporel as a must do for any meal-- breakfast, lunch or dinner. I have made a number of visits over past months enjoyed each & every meal An intimate space with well chosen & well prepared items that change with the seasons. A small but effective wine list & happy atmosphere, all aided by friendly & helpful service. & not expensive so popular with locals & visitors. About a dozen tables place so reservations might be important especially at weekends.
