Must visit! We went here for lunch on a weekday after a long hike up & down the Montmercy falls.

We were seated next to a window (what a wonderful table!) & were served by Flora May. She was an exceptionally sweet, polite & frank server - didn't oversell, kept it real & all with a smiling face.

We had their French onion soup & Snails along with their house wine. The portions were good & the taste was just wow! It kept lingering. Had a nice French experience. Definitely recommend if you're around.

Fabulous restaurant not far from the main street.
Staff are attentive & friendly & happy to chat (despite how busy & popular the place is) & help with choices.
We both had French Onion Soup to start - a huge portion & incredibly tasty! We then had bavette & confit duck salad - again fabulous.
If you have room for dessert try the maple syrup pie - delicious!!
Totally recommend this exceptional find!

Charming little place with staff who genuinely care about their clientele. Beef tartare was very good. Salmon was exquisite. Mushroom risotto with duck confit added was rich & delicious. Nice selection of wines by the glass. Gets very busy, so a reservation is recommended.

Chez Temporel is such a charming little restaurant, tucked just a few steps away from one of QC's main drags. My family had a very positive experience here; the service was stellar, & the menu simple, yet accessible. I'm not quite sure my photos do justice to the food, but I promise it was all very tasty. I would definitely recommend & return to Chez Temporel!

Simply put, this was the consummate dining experience. The food left us speechless, & the service was beyond compare. Our server Ossa was so friendly & patient, & her recommendations were perfect. The ambiance was warm, rustic, & very European both inside the restaurant & on the patio. The cocktails were some of the best we've had, period. They were simple but super tasty & well-balanced. All in all, I recommend this restaurant 110%. We will be going back here next time we visit Quebec City!

This place was recommended to us by a friend & it did not disappoint!! Really high quality food that was perfectly seasoned & a great ambiance. I especially loved the mushroom risotto & tomato soup.
