Such a hidden gem - just tucked away off the main street & absolutely worth it! This cozy little restaurant recently celebrated 50 years, & it's easy to see why it's stood the test of time. The menu is small, but everything is done perfectly. The service is so warm & unpretentious - we dined in with our toddler & baby & felt completely at ease. For dinner, we loved the French onion soup & fisherman's pie, & our toddler couldn't get enough of his grilled cheese. We came back for brunch & really enjoyed the homemade hot chocolate, croque madame, & classic egg benedict. Highly recommend!
Stumbled into this cute spot without a reservation on a Sunday night. The service was great & the food was delicious. We were even treated to a delicious crème brûlée!! Favorite dish was the fois gras. I would recommend :)
Endroit chaleureux situé à l'écart des rues trop touristiques, l'accueil est très sympathique & la cuisine de qualité. Je recommande vivement . Nous reviendrons. Merci pour votre acceuil.
The food was best we had in Canada. The atmosphere is amazing. We ended up coming back multiple times for breakfast & dinner because nothing could beat it. Recommend: eggs Benedict & beef shoulder!
Definitely a homegrown, local spot in the best way. I sat outside & really enjoyed myself. The menu seems to change frequently...dont expect to eat what you see in these photos...but the foie on pistachio bread was creaveable. I recommend this spot!
We stayed at an AirBnB down the street & found this fantastic cafe! We ended up eating there 3 days in a row. I was traveling with my mom & my 2 kids (aged 13 & 10). All of us were big fans of different things! The service was wonderful! The owner is there from time to time but all of his staff are beyond welcoming. The atmosphere is perfect with open windows & exposed brick walls & stained glass- it's cozy. Highly recommend to anyone visiting or just looking for a hidden gem in their city.
Disappointed with the experience. Brunch dish 4/10 Cappuccino 1/10 (froth machine didn't work) Duck confit salad 6/10 I wouldn't go back or recommend.
It's really nice cozy place to have a meal with friends. Food is great & the service is really good. I definitely recommend.
