Food was good but it took over 3 hours to get all courses of the tasting menu & the time between courses was long. Waitstaff was very good as was the sommelier.

This was our first time back since Coteau replaced Chez Muffy. I can't speak highly enough of the entire experience. The artistry of the cuisine was of the highest caliber. Some of the offerings were staggeringly delicious. Our meal was enhanced enormously by the bottle of Quebecois wine suggested to us by the outstanding sommelier. Her knowledge & articulate guidance was greatly appreciated. All of the staff were attentive & gracious. This was a truly memorable experience.

Magnifique restaurant, accueil (& non service) chaleureux & excellente sommelière. Le 7 services était obligatoire pour la Saint-Valentin alors que nous visions plutôt le 5 services, mais ce n'était indiqué nulle part au moment de réserver. Je n'ai pas du tout la dent sucrée, alors je ne tiens pas à avoir deux services de dessert, personnellement.

Deux choses ont toutefois teinté la soirée négativement. La serveuse nous a fait sentir mal de ne pas prendre l'accord mets-vins à 160 $ par personne. Elle a dit : « Ah, normalement, c'est l'accord mets-vins, mais OK, je vous amène la carte des vins. » Payer 700 $ pour un repas pour deux & sentir qu'on n'a pas assez dépensé…

Aussi, j'apprécie qu'on s'adapte à mes restrictions alimentaires, mais à un des services, mon conjoint a reçu du poisson avec sauce & une tartelette en accompagnement, alors que je n'avais qu'une petite portion d'un légume racine. Je n'ai jamais vécu un décalage aussi grand de portion & de raffinement pour le même prix.

Quelle expérience incroyable. Tout était extraordinaire. La cuisine était divine, préparée avec soins à partir d'ingrédients locaux. Une explosion de saveurs à chaque bouchée. Le service était impeccable. Chaque service & chaque vin présenté par le serveur & la sommelière.

I want to like this restaurant, because it's associated with my favorite hotel. However, I was disappointed. My aim of this review is to make the restaurant better, not to ruin its reputation.
One course, the wagyu beef, was worthy of the price. All other courses were simply not good. Overly creative & lacking flavor. I'm truly amazed the restaurant has 4.7 stars. Maybe we had a bad night.
Capping all this was an abysmal wine pairing. It was as if the sommelier was attempting to find the most eccentric & unusual pairings. She did. & they all missed the mark.
I miss Chez Muffy, the restaurant Coteau replaced.

The entire experience was a delight. The atmosphere is romantic & the waitstaff is attentive. They had no issue making everything gluten free for us. The sommelier was wonderful. We loved the wine pairings & learning about the wine. The food was delicious. Each course had amazing flavors. We loved our special night at Coteau! & though it was a bit of a splurge , it was totally worth it!

An exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The service was outstanding-from the sommelier & wait staff to the host & manager-warm, knowledgeable, & genuinely attentive. Every one of the five signature dishes & sides was extraordinary, showcasing incredible flavor, texture, creativity, & balance. The wine selections were surprising & delicious. The atmosphere was equally memorable: soft ambient lighting, a stunning glass fireplace beside our table, exposed beams, & stone walls in a beautiful historic space. Absolutely unforgettable. Highly recommend-& we can't wait to return.

Incroyable ! Rare que tout est parfait ! Le décor de pierres & de bois , le feu de foyer ! Meilleur service a vie ! Tous les plats expliqués à la perfection , tous les serveurs viennent te voir ! Sommelière 100/10 ! Dans bien des restaurants de fine cuisine, on quitte le ventre à moitié plein ... ici vous allez en avoir pour votre argent ! Coup de coeur pour le boeuf Wagyu du Québec !
Je recommande +++ & quel beau cadeau a offrir !

Phenomenal staff including a wonderful sommelier. Old European charm in the atmosphere. Food was excellent--creative, flavorful & beautiful presentation. But it was not on my top 10 meals.. A bit too fussy.
