Absolutely loved our dining experience. We had the 5 course signature meal, & it also included amuse bouches & bread & butter. The wine pairings were amazing. The service was friendly & attentive & all the food & drink were carefully explained. We can't wait to return!

If you are looking for a dining experience that will blow your mind then you must go to Coteau! Nestled in the hotel St. Antoine in Quebec City, this small & quaint dining area hosts a magical tasting menu for dinner. The decor of the restaurant is rustic with wooden & stone walls & exposed beams. There is an iron staircase leading to a small second floor area as well. Upon entrance we were greeted with bright smiles & warm salutations. Our table was cozy & comfortable & did not sit too closely to its neighbors. The menu offers four options: a five course or seven course meat & fish tasting or a five or seven course vegetarian tasting. The seven course option includes all of the five course foods plus two additional. Then you can add on a wine pairing to go with the food...which we did not try. The drinks are plentiful & include non-alcoholic versions of your favorites. My husband had the faux gimlet & I had the faux Paloma. Both were bright & refreshing! The food begins with a sampling of three welcome samplings & fresh sourdough bread - not counted toward the 5/7 tasting dishes you are yet to receive. Then you are delighted with dish after dish of absolutely incredible & fresh foods. We had the seven vegetable tasting courses & I could not tell you which was the best because every single bite was a true delight to our palettes. There was a take on French onion soup that just blew my mind & a ravioli that was such a tender pillow of cheese & eggplant. The waiter explains each dish listing a plethora of vegetables that are home grown. Coteau is an experience. It is pricey but worth it if you enjoy tasting a variety of unique dishes that give you an appreciation for fresh home grown foods that are made with precision & thought! I hope you get a chance to try this fabulous food journey!

What & incredible & special meal. We tried the 7 course menus with wine pairing. A very large splurge for us but was worth the experience. The service team was attentive, knowledgeable & engaging. The food was fantastic & covered a range of flavours & textures. We were full by the end & very happy. The space was beautiful as well

We had an excellent 5 course tasting menu. The food was delicious & creative. We also did the wine pairing which was good but I would not recommend it or do it again. The price for each person was $89 for four very small pours. The pairings were very good but we could have purchased several bottles of good wine (we had 4 people in our party) for the price of about two full glasses each.

Coteau is very special, we opted for 7 course with the wine pairing. Each course was imaginative & delicious. The wine pairing was such a treat. Stephanie was a great guide through the experience . If you are lucky enough have her - ask her about the liquid gold lol. Everyone on the team was so nice & made you feel welcome in this very well loved & thought out space. See you next year!

We came to Coteau to celebrate my partners birthday & it was everything we hoped for! A delicious farm to table experience with an excellent 7 course wine pairing. I'm a vegetarian & my partner is not & both menus really were so well thought out. The service was top notch with everyone who came by from the server to the chef were kind, & extremely knowledgeable on the food & wine. A must visit if you are in Old Quebec City!

This was an absolutely amazing experience. My husband & I came to celebrate our 10 year anniversary & it was beyond incredible. All the food & wine pairings were phenomenal & the service was so kind & personable. One of the hosts noticed that I was cold & found blankets to cover up the AC behind me. Each moment felt thoughtful & intentional. We had the 7 course Signature menu & enjoyed every moment. Thank you for making such a wonderful atmosphere to celebrate!

Beautiful rustic atmosphere with knowledgeable, friendly servers! The tasting menu was a 5 star, farm to table menu with unique, delicious courses! A wine pairing can be done for each course! We absolutely loved Coteau & highly recommend a dinner here!!
