Truly my favorite dining experience OF ALL TIME. Every moment of our evening with Coteau was SUPERB. The service was exceptional & each course was sublime. I wish I could tell you which was my favorite or least favorite, but I cannot. Everything was a 10/10. If you are debating whether or not you should . . . stop. Just make the reservation & thank me later.

Très bon service, excellente nourriture. Mais un ajout de frais de 3%, taxables, pour dissimuler un pourboire c'est du jamais vu. En ajoutant 15% de pourboire sur la facture & aussi sur le pourboire caché de 3%, le net pourboire est de 21%. En plus le terminal de carte de crédit qui n'offre pas les standards de pourboire en pourcentage. Il faut calculer soi-même. Comment bien gâcher une expérience qui se voulait exceptionnelle!!!

Absolutely loved our dining experience. We had the 5 course signature meal, & it also included amuse bouches & bread & butter. The wine pairings were amazing. The service was friendly & attentive & all the food & drink were carefully explained. We can't wait to return!

If you are looking for a dining experience that will blow your mind then you must go to Coteau! Nestled in the hotel St. Antoine in Quebec City, this small & quaint dining area hosts a magical tasting menu for dinner. The decor of the restaurant is rustic with wooden & stone walls & exposed beams. There is an iron staircase leading to a small second floor area as well. Upon entrance we were greeted with bright smiles & warm salutations. Our table was cozy & comfortable & did not sit too closely to its neighbors. The menu offers four options: a five course or seven course meat & fish tasting or a five or seven course vegetarian tasting. The seven course option includes all of the five course foods plus two additional. Then you can add on a wine pairing to go with the food...which we did not try. The drinks are plentiful & include non-alcoholic versions of your favorites. My husband had the faux gimlet & I had the faux Paloma. Both were bright & refreshing! The food begins with a sampling of three welcome samplings & fresh sourdough bread - not counted toward the 5/7 tasting dishes you are yet to receive. Then you are delighted with dish after dish of absolutely incredible & fresh foods. We had the seven vegetable tasting courses & I could not tell you which was the best because every single bite was a true delight to our palettes. There was a take on French onion soup that just blew my mind & a ravioli that was such a tender pillow of cheese & eggplant. The waiter explains each dish listing a plethora of vegetables that are home grown. Coteau is an experience. It is pricey but worth it if you enjoy tasting a variety of unique dishes that give you an appreciation for fresh home grown foods that are made with precision & thought! I hope you get a chance to try this fabulous food journey!

This establishment provided my fiancée & me with an unparalleled gastronomic experience in Quebec.

The service was impeccable & warmly attentive, while each dish was nothing short of sublime.

The tuna preparation, in particular, surpassed all expectations & comfortably rivals the standard of any Michelin-starred establishment.

Nous avons mon mari & moi, vécu une expérience dégustation culinaire absolument extraordinaire. Dès notre arrivée, le maître d'hôtel nous a immédiatement mis à l'aise avec son accueil chaleureux. Le choix de notre table était parfait, une ambiance feutrée & conviviale régnait. Tant de personnes attentives pour nous servir & chacun(une) vraiment attentionnés & gentils envers nous. Nous avons été traités comme des rois! Chaque service présenté avec des explications approfondies nous mettait l'eau à la bouche à chaque fois. Nous recommandons le Coteau à tous qui désirent une expérience hors des sentiers battus.
