Phenomenal staff including a wonderful sommelier. Old European charm in the atmosphere. Food was excellent--creative, flavorful & beautiful presentation. But it was not on my top 10 meals.. A bit too fussy.

As a Michelin 2 star restaurant the food quality, atmosphere, & superlative wine were over & above my expectations! Enjoying a 2012 Chateau Rayas ( White ) was a bucket list surprise, & huge thanks to Christophe ( the sommelier) for finding such a rare bottle in the cellar. My sole criticism was the pacing of the Chef's Table dinner selection which was far too rapid to savour sufficiently the details expressed in each presentation. Service did slow down but earlier on the table was chocked with food & I felt overwhelmed … All in all a great evening & we are looking forward to returning .. Thank you

La cuisine était succulente comme d'habitude. Les mets étaient bien présentés dans l'assiette & bien décrits verbalement par le serveur. Le sommelier avait fait un excellent appariement des vins avec les différents plats & il pouvait l'expliquer finement & clairement aux convives. Le personnel était courtois & aimable, sans être familier. L'atmosphère du restaurant dans le décor historique était chaleureux. Mon épouse & moi sommes convaincus que Chez Muffy est l'un des meilleurs restaurants à Québec & représente bien le haut de gamme de la gastronomie québécoise.

We chose the tasting menu with wine pairings & each dish was Impeccable. Oliver (our sommelier) was kind, informative, & personable. We will definitely be coming back!

Nous en sommes a notre deuxième visite pour le souper & quelle expérience phénoménale. Une expérience culinaire hors pair du jamais vu auparavant. Maxime le serveur est plus que sympathique ainsi que le sommelier. En fait, tout le personnel, l'équipe est plus que professionnelle. Une expérience a refaire. Même au déjeuner le service est des plus courtois... encore a refaire !

When we arrived to the restaurant, the table was not ready so we were told to wait in the corridor. After 25min wait & no one even offering us a drink we were finally seated. We were given the menu & wine list after selecting what we wanted the waiter told us the menu was different & we had to choose something else. We also ordered a bottle of wine the sommelier took a long time to come & serve us. The wine was corked so he went to get another bottle however it was not cold. He tried to cool it but by this time we were already two courses in to the meal. The food served was nice but not well balanced our starter tasted more like a dessert. By the end of our main course the wine was finally at a nice temperature to drink ashame considering the price. We paid for the meal at the end & left a tip but apparently the tip was not good enough for the waiter who made a scene in the middle of the restaurant. He informed us that in quebec you have to tip at least 15%. When did tipping become mandatory! Or a waiter feel he can ask for more money the most shocking experience.

Lovely! Completely!! Attention to detail & the Sommelier surprised us by presenting us with a spectacular wine that we thought was a no for us. Thank you for broadening our taste pallets.
