I made a reservation here for my family of 4 (including two young children) without having done my due diligence. I was unaware that the menu is strictly a blind tasting menu, with the only option being 3 or 7 courses. I panicked at the thought of my 1.5 & 5 yr old sitting through a tasting menu BUT our lovely waitress assured me that they could have a kids menu & that they could be speedy. This was the case & our food was INCREDIBLE. By far our best meal in Quebec, & it was truly a wonderful experience. The staff were all so kind & accommodating, & I can't get over how affordable the tasting menu is for what you get. I'll be recommending Chez Muffy to all who visit Quebec!

We enjoyed a lovely evening at Chez Muffy. The staff, location, decoration & design were all top notch. We had a stunning view of the river from our table.
Our food was incredible! The serving sizes are perfect & feature colourful, fresh ingredients.

A decent wine list with high end options. Well executed dishes in both taste & presentation. A must try restaurant for its discovery allure. Unfortunately, in my opinion, not a format that encourages multiple return visits for short 2 to 4 night says at the hotel. A restaurant of this calibre would definitely grab 80% of my dinning needs during a multiple night stay if the menu had a more traditional meat, fish, pasta offering allowing one to try different dishes every night. The discovery style menu with its 7 services is a great onetime meal but will not entice me to return the following night.

Had a spectacular meal recently here. The chef certainly loves to impress. The staff was very courteous & had extensive knowledge for every serving. My husband chose the suggested menu while I chose the vegetarian option. Neither of us were disapointed.

The real shining star here is the service & the atmosphere. Wonderful staff!! The food was okay & a bit expensive for breakfast; the buffet was a bit paltry both in offerings & stocking (everything was very low on stock for meats,cheeses etc) BUT it is free with your breakfast BUT breakfast is $39CAD so not cheap.

Highly recommended booking with Amex if you can as the perks are fantastic with great room rates, $100 food & bev credit & 2 free breakfasts. 💕💕💕

Nous avons eu la chance de découvrir ce restaurant lors d'un week-end spécial, & ce fut sans contredit l'une de nos plus belles soirées gastronomiques à vie. Pour souligner nos 18 ans de vie commune, nous avons opté pour le menu signature 7 services, avec l'accord des vins - une expérience absolument divine du début à la fin.

D'abord, le lieu est magnifique. L'endroit est chargé d'histoire, avec ses poutres datant du 18e siècle & son cachet parfaitement préservé. On ressent tout de suite qu'on entre dans un endroit unique, chaleureux & raffiné.

Le service fut impeccable, du premier accueil jusqu'au dernier au revoir. Mention spéciale à Simon, notre serveur, dont la présence discrète mais attentionnée a vraiment enrichi notre soirée. Il a su trouver le parfait équilibre entre professionnalisme & complicité, rendant notre expérience encore plus mémorable.

& que dire de la nourriture… Chaque plat était un chef-d'oeuvre, pensé avec soin, exécuté à la perfection, & magnifiquement agencé avec les vins. Le mariage des saveurs était d'une justesse remarquable.

Ambiance feutrée, service exceptionnel, cuisine exquise : tout était au rendez-vous pour faire de ce moment un souvenir précieux.

Merci à toute l'équipe pour cette soirée extraordinaire. Nous reviendrons, c'est certain.
