The setting was lovely. The staff were charming but the whole evening came to a crashing finish as we were presented a bill for$1100 for our 4 $85.00 Table d'hote meals. We did have $400.00 in wine, but the total was upsetting. The patient staff pointed out to us that only one of the 4 meals on offer were that price. Hidden in the discription was a surcharge for each item. We found it sneaky & abusive to guests who expect to leave happy..

This is a ‘must eat here' restaurant. Both food & service were impeccable. They modified the tasting menu for us for allergies & a food preference with no problems.
