Was VERY impressed with deTerroir Cafe.
Quality ingredients & local farm sourced milk for drinks.
I had cortado, which is one of my standards & it was one of the best I've had anywhere.
The house made whippet dessert was also exceptional. Chocolate exterior with house made marshmallow, house made caramel & praline. Try one, it will be memorable.
Shop interior is small with limited seating, but staff was very kind & polite to us English only Yankees who were trying our best.
Overall, b/c everything was truly exceptional 11.5/10, would go back & go out of the way to do so.

Un véritable bijou ce café. On sent une attention sincère portée aux producteurs & aux produits locaux, & ça fait toute la différence. Tout est délicieux, soigneusement pensé & exécuté. Service impeccable. C'est devenu un arrêt incontournable à chaque visite à Québec.

Croffle was good but honestly I couldn't tell the difference between a regular waffle. Flat white was okay, & hot chocolate was good. The latte art was beautiful

Découvert lors du marché Créafolie à l'Ancienne-Lorette en novembre dernier.
J'avais eu un coup de coeur.
Découvrir leur place est un vrai plaisir.
Le café est savoureux & le service est attentionné, tout pour illuminer notre journée.

Un véritable coup de coeur. Un immense merci à Allison pour son service impeccable, attentionné & profondément engagé. On ressent tout l'amour & la passion qui habitent ce café. J'ai eu la chance, entre autres, de savourer un espresso à la mouture Guatemala : une expérience gustative étonnante, d'une complexité qui transporte littéralement ailleurs ; il faut y goûter pour comprendre. 2026 commence en force, & Café deTerroir fait désormais partie de mes arrêts bonheur incontournables.

The ladies are phenomenal & they know their stuff if you are a coffee/espresso lover. We tried their Cortado & decaf espresso. The decaf is delicious, tastier than most. We live in Calgary now. They were kind enough to give us some tips for the best coffees in what we call home now. This is a tiny place (limited places) & the name is not showing outside, google map it before you get there!
