Service au top, accueil agréable, une carte de boissons incroyables (aussi bien pour les assortiments possibles que les bières ou rhum plus rares disponibles à la carte), & une poutine tout à fait savourable pour un palais plus européen :D

Nous sommes allés manger le vendredi midi le restaurant était vide & je suppose venait d'ouvrir. J'ai pris une petite poutine (très petit portion). Le fromage n'était pas frais & ne faisait pas squich squich, la sauce est légèrement sucré & très différente des sauces à poutine régulière mais pas mauvaise, les frites allumettes manquait de cuisson & n'étaient pas croustillant. J'ai aussi pris la crème brûlée au coureur des bois, très bonne & bien croustillantes.
Le service était bon & sympathique.
C'est un bel établissement & leur choix de bières est excellent. Notre expérience aurait peut être été meilleure a l'heure du souper quand tout roule a fond depuis quelques heures.

First time going to the new location. I was a regular customer at the previous location downtown. First of all, it's a down grade as the ambiance is completely different, less welcoming & kinda dull. The service was ok...nothing special. The food (burger) was good (but different than previous location). My opinion is, if you serve a burger as a main course with fries, you there should be a decent amount of them, not 4-5 fries lying flat on the plate. This is ridiculous. If cost for fries is an issue, I recommend upping the price by 3-4$ & doubling the portion. This also goes for the poutine. Receiving a half empty bowl doesn't look good. The burger & fries should be the'flagship meal' for any pub & it's clearly not for this establishment. We had 2 burger plates (1 single patty & 1 double patty), one with fries & the other switch to a poutine (side). 1 pint & 1 glass of beer...87$ (including tip)! This is too expensive considering the portions &'wow' factor. Price is subjective, if the burger was amazing with a good portion of fries with great beer & dynamic setting, the price would have been justified but unfortunately, it wasn't.

Miamioum! J'ai commencé par une pinte de Copernic (bière sûre aux camerises). J'ai ensuite commandé un smash burger accompagné d'une poutine. La sauce était délicieuse. Je termine avec une micro stout bourbon

Really enjoyed our Griendel experience. I had a flight of beer & chose beers recommended by our server. They were some of the most unique beers I've tasted & I love that one of the owners took the time to talk with us about the beers. My wife & I both had a burger & poutine with our beer. The patty was pretty small but tasted great. Poutine was classic. The beer was the highlight.
