Great food & atmosphere. I had my order slightly messed up - they forgot my starter & bought it last after a couple of reminders. I avoided the patio because it seemed to be too close to some garbage bins, but I am not actually sure if they would have been a problem.

Yum yum yum!!! This is the best restaurant I went to during my time in Quebec. The food I received was fantastic, very high quality. & the service was exceptional. I can't remember a time I had a more attentive server. He came over to check on me at least 5 times, always filling my water for me & making sure I didn't need anything. & the vibe of this place is 10/10.

Touristy spot promising to local quebecoise cuisine. The meat pie with pastry on top was very meat forward with no flavor, plus the pastry top was stale.

This was the best meal we had in Quebec! It was feel good, taste good food, & reminded us of a homemade meal while still being able to try some new Quebec cuisine! La Buche was one of the highlights of our entire trip:)

Amazing Quebecois restaurant experience! Got complimentary pork rinds with camarel drizzle. The walleye dinner was fresh & flavourful & the Quebec Sheppard's Pie (Pate Chinois) was a thing of beauty...so much depth & so many flavours, but not heavy or greasy at all. The Maple Syrup Pie was absolutely delectable & the drinks were all good too. Despite being very busy, the service was remarkable. It was packed on a Tuesday night & we couldn't get in without a reservation on a Friday night. Definitely make reservations for weekends! Also, be sure to check out the washrooms downstairs! Merci, merci, merci beaucoup, Restaurant La Buche!

Probably one of the best brunches I've ever had. We ordered the Sugar Shack Experience which was amazing. Everything was cooked to perfection & a great sampling of Canadian & Quebecois cuisine for foreigners. The service was friendly & efficient & the atmosphere was one of a kind. Probably our favorite meal while visiting Vieux Quebec!

We arrived at 14:45 & still managed to order brunch & lunch. All the dishes were fantastic! It was my second time coming back to this restaurant which all the food quality remained to be high. Definitely a must try when you visit the old Quebec City.
