What's not to like about La Bouche? It's a whimsical & fun place to eat in old Quebec.

It is always busy so reservation is recommended.

The staff are friendly, multilingual, professional but not clingy.

The food is traditional Quebecoise. The four of us sampled many dishes & all were very good. I started with the New Fashioned cocktail which is delicious. We enjoyed cheese plate, all quality. My wife enjoyed the pea soup which was tasty. I enjoyed a traditional meat pie. Friends enjoyed their varied choices as well.

This is an experience you should enjoy when you visit Quebec.

For traditional Québécois food this is the place to go . Not pretentious , good service & interesting ( but nice ) food .
Not to mention the interesting bathroom experience 😂

What a great vibe La Buche has from your greeting at the door, to you paying your bill!
If you are from Canada, this place really shows you true Québécois cuisine, with a delicious tourtiere dish.
If you're not from Canada, this place will take you to a Canadian cabin with your friends!

A truly wonderful experience from start to finish! The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was warm & inviting, & the authentic Québécois décor & music made the experience feel incredibly special. Every dish was delicious, & our server was both kind & entertaining, adding to the overall charm of the evening. If you're looking for a genuine traditional Québécois dining experience, this is the place. I highly recommend it!

Had an amazing lunch today with the croquettes, classic poutine & maple syrup pie for dessert. Paschal was an excellent server & went above & beyond to ensure we would have an authentic Québécois experience! It made our day!!

Une cuisine québécoise traditionnelle avec une décoration typique & un service au top. Très bonne soirée à La Bûche où nous avons notamment partagé « la cochonne », une assiette réunissant plusieurs recettes phares comme la poutine, les côtes levées (ribs) ou encore la cuisse de canard. - shepards pie (pate chinois): a refined take onto the quebecois dish. the mashed potato was creamy, the beef was irrefutably soft & tender, the corn was a nice addition bcs it added some creaminess. but i like the fruits ketchup a lot- it added a contrasting sweet & sourness to the otherwise mostly creamy & rich palette.
- duck wings: they were hella crispy but while i appreciate the thought, they didnt add any flavour.
- crepe quebecois: while very nice, it's just your crepe.
- pouding chômeur: leave room for dessert bcs the portion is very big just for one person! the cake was crumbly, buttery & tender & can be eaten just alone. the maple syrup cream along w it is very good too.
