This was a promising restaurant. The location is great, right in the middle of Old Quebec. However, here stop the positive aspects. Staff is careless. We asked for poached eggs with a soft centre, & we got hard-boiled eggs. Pretty dry & disgusting. Coffee was weak.
The server didn't bother following up on our dishes & we had to flag her several times to pay.
The restaurant was not even very busy at that point. Go somewhere else for brunch.

Brunch tardif. La tartine de truite est fabuleuse & mimosas à 2$ le refill. L'endroit est magnifique & le service impeccable. Je recommande fortement.

We came in with modest expectations given the busy, touristy area, but the food was a pleasant surprise & we really enjoyed it!!The service was excellent, & the staff were so kind to our dog - they even gave him treats. We were seated right away for weekday brunch, & the location is just a short walk from Château Frontenac, making it a convenient stop while exploring the area 🙌

A perfect restaurant for French cuisine. We had brunch which they serve until 2. I ordered tartine a la truite which was perfect in every way. Fresh. We also had thr Cassolette which was also amazing. Goes great with Hot sauce. Eggs were perfectly over-easy. I cant say enough great things.

Great selection of classic breakfast/brunch fare in a full on Canadiana decorated space. Every dish was beautifully prepared, with quality ingredients (read thick & crispy bacon, Quebec maple syrup, light crepes, & great coffee) & the service was both friendly & incredibly fast. Reservations are recommended for breakfast/brunch as the space is not huge & the place is very popular. Highly recommended.
