Great meal. We enjoyed the poutine to start & the cocktails were excellent. The mussels with bacon & bleu cheese sauce (plus frites) was so good. Others enjoyed the halibut with crème sauce & the French onion soup. Waiter was excellent. Good atmosphere & decor - we'll eat there again!

Saw rave reviews about La Buchette & decided to go here for dinner on the first day that we landed in Quebec. Perrine was so lovely & absolutely accommodating, & we had the best time!
We got to share the appetizers for two, which came with cocktails, & we ordered the Le Bûcheron, which was the most decadent chocolatey dessert there is!
The vibe of the restaurant is really great + they also serve a mean breakfast! Unfortunately I couldn't go back during my trip to try out the breakfast, but it's on my list whenever I do go back!
We came here 1.5 years ago on a food tour & came back specifically for the lions head mushroom entree, which did not disappoint! Aside from that deliciousness, all of their other food, & cocktails were great, & the service was excellent. Highly recommend, & I'll be back next year!
We had a wonderful dinner here! Our server was so friendly & lovely, & the food was absolutely delicious. We got the beef bourguignon & the tartiflette a l'origine de Charlevoix & both were excellent, but the tartiflette was one of the best dishes ever! The cocktails were fun, & the maple cookie for dessert was perfect.
Absolutely fantastic spot, great food at a reasonable price & a wide selection. They have a full bar as well with options on tap & craft cocktails. Definitely one of my favorite spots to eat in the area!
A must when in Quebec! We have dined in quite a few different restaurants & absolutely loved everything here from A to Z. The staff was super welcoming & of good advice & we loved the decor & more intimate setting. We started with cocktails & were impressed by the authenticity of them (Le Duc, their own version of whiskey sour with maple syrup was really bold & simply delicious) featuring local ingredients, well balanced & each beautifully presented. The food was excellent & we loved their take on French food with a twist of Quebec, (the Boeuf Bourguignon that was slow cooked for 10 hours was a killer!) & the trout tartare had a lovey kick to it. Products are of high quality & mostly locally sourced. Would absolutely return as we really enjoyed our evening here!
