Some of the best food in Canada! Staff are friendly, food is TO DIE FOR!! blend of authentic Canadian cuisine & the French cuisine that influenced it! Cannot recommend enough, if i had to pick something to recommend (which is hard because everything was SO GOOD) I'd recommend the duck carpaccio & the maple-glazed pork shank. Every dessert option was phenomenal, but definitely snag some of the'bûcheron' chocolate cake, it was moist, nostalgic, & from a small local family business! (Plus you can get two free mimosas at brunch service with the coupon on the box) all in all, an authentic taste of old town Quebec!

We had the duck carpaccio for appetizers & the beef bourguignon & maple glazed pork shank for entree. They were absolutely amazing!!! Randy provided exceptional service. Would highly recommend. We are only in Quebec City for 3 full days & will be back for a meal at least once more before we leave. Ambiance had rustic charm.

We had a lovely time at La Buchette! Highly recommend the Duck Carapaccio & the Wagyu Burgers! The creme brulee dessert very good, too! Fun atmosphere! Kind servers!

We had a lovely meal here last night! Firstly the inside of the restaurant is so beautiful & cosy. The food we ordered was all delicious, especially the Duck Margret & Beef Bourguignon! The desserts were so yummy, the Bucheron (chocolate cake) was our favourite. Portions all very good & our waiter Richard was so lovely & welcoming. You won't have a bad meal here!! Must visit x

If you visit Québec, you have to go to La Buchette, the food is incredible flavour, authentic & imaginative. The Duck carpaccio was incredible & the maitre'D, Christopher was wonderful, accommodating & made one feel like a long lost friend. One of the best experiences in Québec.

Poutine was supposed to be great. It was terrible...$21 for a handful of fries, gravy & cheese.
Duck Capocina was TERRIBLE!! Menu said it was duck breast....it was 7 paper thin pieces of duck (was it duck?) & cost $25.
Wait staff doesn't give good service either...long time to place an order then a long wait for food.

There are much better restaurants. Don't bother with this one.

Duck carpaccio is truly a culinary delight! The flavors are exceptional & will leave you craving more. & the steak? It's absolutely top-notch, bursting with a perfect blend of spices that elevate it to new heights. I can't recommend it enough! You can really tell there's a genius chef in the kitchen!
