Service was great & food was really tasty with big portions. Tables were tight, we had to get up to let others go to the bathroom. Bathroom was 2 stalls, mixed men/women which was disappointing. Steak had lots of fat but was good nonetheless.

The place looked a bit touristy when we walked by, but the food & service were both surprisingly good. The onion soup was okay but the mussels with fries were really tasty. They serve breakfast, lunch, & dinner, & breakfast is available until 3 pm, which is a nice option. The menu isn't too long, but the choices felt well thought out, which usually means the kitchen focuses on doing each dish right.

I'm a big fan of La Buchette. Our second time here & the first place we thought to book on a recent visit. The food is tasty & filling (breakfast menu) & there's no hassle substituting gluten free options for my girlfriend. Very enjoyable.

Une excellente expérience du début à la fin ! Les plats étaient tout simplement délicieux. Mention spéciale au serveur qui a été chaleureux, attentif & très professionnel. Un service impeccable qui a vraiment fait la différence. Je recommande sans hésitation & j'y reviendrai avec grand plaisir !

Tried this place because the reviews were good... but the food wasn't good at all. Maybe because we went there too late(after 3), or our expectation was too high?
We ordered a burger & poutine. The fries were soggy... Poutine was bland... pasta wasn't any different from what we make using a sauce from a grocery store... maybe we didn't order right dishes...

So delicious that we went back two times on our recent trip! Breakfast (the maple bacon... you have to try it) is amazing, & dinner is fantastic. Be sure to leave your mark & sign the walls & check out the bathroom!
