We ate here for breakfast & it was amazing! We had the French toast & the eggs with bacon. Bacon was great (kind of like million dollar bacon), & the fruits & sauce on the French toast was very delicious. It was also cooked perfectly. It's also a nice atmosphere, across from the fairmount hotel.

On a recent girl's trip we had the great pleasure of stopping into La Buchette for supper. We had tried to get into another restaurant but a large line up proved to be our good fortune as we moved on looking for a place to eat. La Buchette, with its sweet blue & white gingham covered tables, beckoned to us. The food & drinks were amazing. We started with a cheese & charcuterie board that was plentiful with a good variety of meats & cheeses, along with a scrumptious fig jam. Then we ordered the Arctic Char Tartare, the Waygu Burger & the Lobster Ravioli & we were not disappointed. Each dish was well prepared & delicious. Both the red & white Sangria were delicious & the special drink, Passion Quebecois, was a real experience. Our waitress extraordinaire, Arielle, was very accommodating & provided exceptional service to us. She was very personable & we really enjoyed interacting with her. We highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. It is a gem & we will return.

The food & service were subpar. I had the BLT tartine & asked for medium poached eggs. The eggs came with runny yolks & undercooked whites. The combined flavor palate of the cherry tomato confit & bacon was too sweet. A yellowing, spotted piece of arugula was included in the garnish on my plate. My mother's toast was so hard she said she was afraid she was going to break a tooth. The water served with her green tea was lukewarm. Very disappointing experience especially for the price.

Nous sommes allés manger un mercredi soir & l'ambiance était très chaleureuse. Nous avons été bien accueilli par l'hôtesse qui nous a conseillé une place à la terrasse. Notre serveuse était Arielle & elle était des plus sympathique !Elle nous a donné ses coups de coeur, a su bien répondre à nos questions. Elle était souriante & chaleureuse. Elle était disponible & à l'écoute. Elle est une bonne embassadrice du resto!

Best breakfast we've ever had. Great service, friendly waitresses & amazing food . Each plate had so much flavour & diversity. It was truly special! Would definitely go back. 11/10

What an experience! The combination of the wonderful staff, Joe & Edwin being the stars for us this evening, along with the inventiveness of culinary delights & the atmosphere of this funky spot made for a truly memorable evening. We sat at the bar & shared 3 dishes that blew our minds! Foie Gras Poutine, Duck carpaccio, Grilled mushroom with pea puree. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
