As tourists we were lucky to find this as it was close to our hotel. Much better food & service than the places we visited at old Québec. Totally recommend the french onion soup. The best we experienced in Québec 😍😋
Great atmosphere & stylish décor. The food was excellent - especially the French onion soup & shepherd's pie. Service was wonderful. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Went here tonight with my dad & the vibes were amazing!
The waitress was really sweet despite my numerous attempts at a very butchered (Quebecois) French. All the authentic Quebecois suggestions for the drinks, dishes & desserts were super tasty. Will be trying to recreate them back home :)
All in all it was an amazing experience. Food was great, place had a great atmosphere to it & there were even some retro video game consoles to play with.
Merci pour la nourriture incroyable!
We got to Quebec late Saturday, so we just looked up La Cuisine on Google Maps. It had great reviews & was only 4m walk. It was chill, comfy, with good beer, food, & friendly Canadians. Interestingly, two ladies ran the whole busy place, from taking orders to cleaning & cooking. We got French onion soup, garbage roll, lasagna, hummus & IPAs beers. The food was delicious, with good portions & reasonable prices. It was a great experience!
Everything was 10/10. The French onion soup & Sheppard's Pie were the best I've ever had. This is more of a late night eats spot where you can eat, have a few drinks, & listen to some live music. We came on a Friday night & the atmosphere + food were a great introduction to Quebec City. Merci beaucoup!!!
Recently tried the French Onion Soup at la Cuisine, & it was absolutely delightful! The soup had a rich, flavorful broth with just the right balance of sweetness & savory notes. The melted cheese & crispy bread topping were perfectly done, making each bite indulgent. The presentation was on point, & the service was excellent, making the overall dining experience memorable. Highly recommend trying it if you're a fan of French classics!
Me & my friend visiting from Australia & we ordered the french onion soup (which was amazing & hearty) & I have the maple syrup ham & cheese pie & he had the shepherd's pie. Amazing traidtional local food & definitely not a tourist trap. Place was filled with locals. Only complaint is that the portions should be bigger cos we loved the food. Amazing restaurant frequented by locals & not a usual overpriced tourist spot that us visitors are accustomed to
Loved this place! Had such a cool vibe & friendly staff. The food & beer were both a delight. We had the French onion soup & Pate Chinook. Both excellent.
Cool retro vibe here. I got some amazing French onion soup, salad & a beer. Good food, prices & service.
