My absolute favorite place to eat lasagna. It's so damn delicious. The salad is excellent, too. I love the salad dressing. I love the warmth & atmosphere at this restaurant. This is my second time having dinner at La Cuisine. Very cozy with great food, also inexpensive in Saint Roch.
The nostalgic atmosphere of this restaurant, their home-style kitchen & the delicious food reminded me of the delicious food my grandmother made when I was a child. We ordered onion soup, lasagna & stuffed cabbage roll. & all of them were delicious. In addition, the salad dressings were also wonderful!

Nice place & nice atmosphere. The food was heated in the microwave, which is pretty weird & might explain the affordable pricing. Taste-wise, it was just average. We had shepherd's pie, lasagna, & the soup of the day, which was a tomato-pepper soup. I would probably recommend it for a drink & the cozy vibes, but less so for eating out.
I got the lasagna & oh. my god. BEST lasagna I have EVER had. Not even kidding, I was QUAKING afterwards it was so good. I've never tried salad, but I did try the salad served on the side, which was also really good. The service & prices were good & staff were very nice. Food was made quickly too. The atomsphere is quite inviting & colorful, but even with a lot of colors, it seems cozy & warm, not overwhelming. Not to mention it smelled SO GOOD when we walked in. Would give 6 stars if possible 💜
I hoped in here in a rainy summer day. The lady in charge was so welcoming & kind that I felt I am visiting my sister. She was bilingual. The place is so cozy & have a nice energy. The decorative is pleasing. I ordered lasagna & poor man cake with maple syrup. It felt really home made. I will get back there again & would love to try all the foods on the menu.
This place was heavenly. Like stepping into your friends home. Packed on a Thursday at noon. From the Lasagna to the French onion soup, everything was delicious. Very reasonably priced.
we got the lasagna, shepard's pie, tomato soup, & nachos. everything was average: lasagna was mostly tomato sauce & not enough of the other things, nachos lacked sufficient cheese, shepherds pie was steaming hot geriatric slop (we still ate it all). tomato soup was FIRE though. relative to the other restaurants in the tourist part quebec city, i guess it was pretty okay for the price ($20 after tax & tip per person). the environment is much more memorable though. waiter was very nice, decor was so fun & warm & inviting. why aren't all restaurants decorated like this
