The French onion soup & Sheppard's Pie were the best I've ever had. This is more of a late night eats spot where you can eat, have a few drinks, & listen to some live music. We came on a Friday night & the atmosphere + food were a great introduction to Quebec City. Merci beaucoup!!!
Ouvre la porte, ça sent bon!
Du bon confort food.
Bonnes soupes & bons plats.
When I walked in here, I honestly thought about walking back out because the atmosphere was so unusual. But fortunately I didn't make that mistake. Nothing inside is the same. For example, the glasses are not the same or the forks all have different patterns. But the only thing that has remained the same inside is'Naturalness'. While I was there, I felt like I was having lunch at my grandmother's house 20 years ago. There is literally my grandmother's kitchen there. The food was same Table, chairs, plates, everything is the same With perfect taste. The lady who prepared the meals for us put her love into those meals. Thank you for making me feel my past with your naturalness & warmth. I'm far from that Quebec city now, but it will definitely be one of the reasons I return to Québec.
We've tried the onion soup & it was amazing. The cheese inside was high quality & taste was unique. For the portion size it was a bit pricier but still amazing. The waitress there was nice
Recently tried the French Onion Soup at la Cuisine, & it was absolutely delightful! The soup had a rich, flavorful broth with just the right balance of sweetness & savory notes. The melted cheese & crispy bread topping were perfectly done, making each bite indulgent. The presentation was on point, & the service was excellent, making the overall dining experience memorable. Highly recommend trying it if you're a fan of French classics!
Les prix sont peu onéreux & on y mange de la bonne bouffe québécoise de nos grands-mères. Un bon spot dans Saint-Roch!!
