4-29-2024 - Dinner - Table for 2 OVERALL: 5/5 Food: 5/5 - Everything was delicious. Like nothing that I had eaten before Service: 5/5 - Attentive & accommodating Ambiance: 5/5 - Cozy & rustic. Like you are sitting in someone's dining room. We are so glad our hotel concierge recommended this non-touristy place (even thought we were tourists ). A very small place with 5-6 tables for 20-22 people. Seems to be a two person operation. One manages the dining room & the other manages the kitchen. They have only two seatings each evening. No set menu, just what is fresh & it is written on a blackboard. Mostly meat heavy but they were able to accommodate multiple restrictions for us, & we were able to have a pescatarian meal. Highly recommend for all people visiting Quebec City.
Would give 6 stars if possible. Incredible food, cozy & relaxed unpretentious atmosphere combined with great & friendly service. Our waiter Jordan did a fantastic job in French & English breaking down the menu for the night, making recommendations, & was attentive, friendly, & charismatic throughout. Food was incredible & not overpriced, our table of 3 split 2 bottles of wine, 3 appetizers, 3 entrees, & 2 desserts for a very reasonable price. Would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting looking for the best French food I've ever had. The sweetbreads & veal tataki are must get appetizers, & the duck, steak, & pork roulade were incredible as well.

Premièrement, le service de Jordan fut exceptionnel: connaissant de ses produits, sympathique a souhait: il a rendu notre experience vraiment agréable & ses recommandations vins etaient parfaites. D'alleurs: tres belle carte des vins bien travaillée. La nourriture fut vraiment une superbe découverte: menu original & maitrisé, créatif & le tout dans un cadre décontracté & convivial

C'est magnificent! Like a private supper club. Warm welcome, superb service, excellent food! We came in as customers & left as friends. Jordan, our server, was friendly & informative & patient with our slow French! Would 1000% recommend.... if you can get a table! 10 stars! Top rate!
Restaurant coup de coeur lorsque nous visitons Québec. Pour l'ambiance conviviale comme si l'on était reçus chez des amis. Un menu à l'ardoise avec de magnifiques produits mis en valeur avec soins. Magnifiques carte des vins & cocktails. Merci à Jordan & Sabri pour le service attentionné & à l'équipe en cuisine pour le savoir-faire qui fait qu'on y revient. Je recommande l'entrée de champignons/épaule de porc/oeuf à 64° avec jus de viande, l'entrée de salade de fruits de mer moules & bourgots sur pommes de terres (tout en fraîcheur), les pétoncles poêlées fondantes en plat principal ainsi que le contre-filet de boeuf.
We brought our friends here for a dinner, & the food was surprisingly good; the service is warm & friendly. It'll be perfect place to hold a pleasant dinner if they could provide bigger tables & lift the 2-hours dinner time restriction. But it's still one of my recommended restaurants in Quebec city.
