Where do I begin....from the wine suggestions to the chefs the whole experience was excellent. They are at another level than most restaurants. They create a unique atmosphere where you feel special. They excellent at everything they do & enjoy what they are doing. Muchas gracias Jordan y Inu!!!
Clinched a last minute 6pm reservation here & it was absolutely wonderful. Their vibe is super chill, friendly, yet energetic/efficient. Got the: veal sweetbread (ris de veau), fish dumplings, & the duck, paired with a very crushable white wine from Spain.
Some additional info:
- There are two dinner services: 6pm & 8:30pm. Try to arrive on time as they will explain the menu in detail to everyone, take everyone's order, then the courses come out in sync across tables.
- The chalkboard menu is split into two sections: appetizers & mains (e.g., ris de veau is an appetizer, duck is a main). An appetizer & main per person works pretty well.
What a great place to be. Great food, jovial, sexy & comfortable. The food & wine were outstanding & Jordan was so great I wanted to take him home with me ( I bet he gets that alot)
This was one of the best meals we’ve ever had & we eat out A LOT & have travelled all over. We were 4 people & ordered everything off the menu to try.
The black pudding, sweet bread, beef & fois gras, fish cake were stand out but the entire meal was just exceptional!
The staff are so wonderful, great characters, they stand up at the beginning of service & explain the menu to the entire restaurant which was a unique touch. They recommended great wines to pair with our meal. We will recommend this place to everyone we know. Thank you for such a great experience.

Wow! Under expected & over delivered!
A must try while visiting Quebec City.
Had heard about this restaurant which had been highled in an Anthony Bourdain series a few year back, & finally last night got the chance to enjoy it. The space is cosy, & it feels like you are at your friends place for dinner & the staff make every effort to making you live that feeling by providing excellent hospitality.
The ris de veau is a must. It stands up to it reputation. We shared our plates so we could try as many items as possible, & they are well sized so you can easily share them. The meals were cooked using the regular kitchen stoves again adding to the homey atmosphere.
Our waiter created a wine pairing for us & did an excellent job of it. My favorite was a « vins jaune sytle wine » from Roussillon Southern France which was made in a solera method. It paired well with the Morilles starter. If you enjoy trying unique & delicious wines let the waiters guide your experience, our waiter did an awesome job highlighting the food & wine with his choices. Somm-like excellence!
I had read reviews which were against the restaurants music choices 🎶, but really didn't notice it as an issue. Possibly lastnight was an exception but seemed to fit well with the vibe of the place. Sometimes you cannot please everyone. However we were very pleased & the waiter generously shared a few more liquid treats with us which absolutely cemented this place as one of my most favorite resto experiences in ages.

I had an excellent meal, gravlax & then scallops & black pudding. I also had excellent wine.
The atmosphere is fantastic & the staff are passionate & welcoming.
I am glad I went to the late seating. They sat me at the bar, I chatted with other customers & the staff.
They really know how to make a great dining experience.
