Easily our favourite restaurant during our trip to Quebec City! The menu options were varied & all delicious, but the vibes & service style were what stood out the most. As weird as it seems, the menu is written very simply on a chalk board when you come in, with no explanation of what the dish contains. The host then goes through each dish (in French, then English), explaining the components of the dish while adding in a few funny quips along the way. Really gave it a family-style vibe. All the staff were so friendly & talkative toward the guests, it was a great time. If you're lucky enough to get a reservation, definitely don't hesitate!

Petit restaurant fort sympathique, mais pour y manger il faut absolument réserver. Rien à dire sur les plats juste c'est vraiment excellent.

One of the best meals we have had in a long time. Food was delicious. The salmon gravlax w/ gazpacho was amazing. Even better was the service. Great hosts & chefs. We had a blast sitting at the bar. Highly highly recommend!

We were one of the 10-ish lucky tables that could get a reservation with these amazing chefs. These guys came with a beautiful idea were they change constantly their menu - you can go one day & the next one you can easily find totally different dishes. Though the nature of their menu is dynamic the warm, hospitality & kindness of these chefs remains the same. It was a pleasure to share such a good time at your restaurant & experienced the delicacy & creativity of your food. This is definitely one of the places where you are happy to pay & spend your time.

This was an experience with excellent food. You feel like you are at a dinner party where your friend is telling you what's on the menu & asking what kind of wine you like. It isn't cheap, but it's worth it. Each dish is clearly made with passion & thought.

Tous les mets sont succulents!
Le service est juste parfait, l'ambiance exceptionnelle!!
Des serveurs au top, recommandent sans forcer à la consommation.
Tout est parfait, plats raffinés & très bons vins !
Je recommande ce merveilleux restaurant

The food was good but not awesome.
There were a few issues. We would have liked a printed wine list. The beef was not tender. The restaurant appeared run-down or as if they did not care. They could use a screen to keep out the flies. It was not worth walking 30 min from Old Quebec.

A dining experience!! I've been wanting to eat here since I learned about it on Anthony Bourdain's show. It did not disappoint!! Charmingly rustic, friendly service, & our meals were AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!! I will for sure be back.
