Immerse yourself in the world of Le bedeau. Give in to the temptation of exceptional wines, sharing plates and delights that border on sinful in a setting that lends itself to many a confession. Everyone—from neophyte to connoisseur—is welcome. Between our four walls, pleasures are never guilty!
Taking inspiration from the wine’s aromas, we create a menu of local-product tapas—small sharing plates that celebrate Quebec’s bounty and pair perfectly with our wines. To expand your horizons, we serve by the glass so you can discover elixirs from here and around the world.

Sophisticated yet friendly wine bar with great music & an excellent selection of wine & spirits. We particularly enjoyed the music & loved the charcuterie board.
I fell into this place on a cold Quebec evening-well, freezing, in fact: -30°C.
The restaurant was buzzing, & I didn't think I had a chance, but the hostess managed to squeeze me into a spot at the bar, followed by a relatively quick move to a side high-top table. After that, I can tell you-it was worth the'wait.'
The menu is short but exceptional. After discussing options with the server, she said of the ribeye (which looked like a very large serving),'I can do it, but you won't want anything else to eat-no soup, no appetizer, no bread, & definitely no dessert.' Challenge accepted, & she was absolutely right.
The steak was cooked to medium-rare perfection, the sauce was stunning, & the mushrooms & dauphine potatoes were equally impressive-creamy & crisp like none I've had before.
More of a bar than restaurant. Ordered the tasting menus for 4. Not really a tasting menu. 2 small app plates which were very good followed by family style lamb shank & tasty but still frozen chocolate mousse tart. Nice service but please leave stacking of plates when clearing to the cafeteria.
Very tasty & the service was excellent, but I was a bit disappointed with the portion size. I ordered the'onglet de boeuf, pressé de pomme de terre à la truffe, beurre à l'ail noir,' & it was barely 250 grams. I understand that businesses are trying to save & make money, but this felt a bit excessive
Wine bar with amazing food despite the small menu. Surprisingly quiet considering the crowded pubs along the Same street. Very helpful & friendly servers
In Quebec City for the week for work, & this is the best restaurant I've been to by far. From the service to the preparation to the taste, everything was perfect.
I ordered the hanger steak, with potatoes & truffle butter. The steak was tender & had a wonderful gravy on top, mixed with the truffle butter was a great flavor combo. The potatoes were soft on the inside & seared to a nice crisp on the outside.
My bartender also provided top notch service. I sat next to the drink station & she put such care into each drink. She also made some great drink recommendations! They all looked great & tasted better!
This is definitely a restaurant I'll keep on my list & return to the next time I'm in QC.
Lovely environment & the bar was vibrant. Staff were attentive & engaging. The cocktail list is excellent & creative with nods to some great classics as well. The crudo & the carbonara were particularly good. Unfortunately they had run out of the veal carpaccio, so we'll definitely need to make a second trip.
