Un moment inoubliable ! Accueil très chaleureux, décor & vue magnifiques, service parfait & mets délicieux... C'est formidable d'avoir accès à ce bistrot luxueux mais abordable, dans le cadre mythique du château Frontenac. La poutine à la joue de boeuf est sans doute la meilleure de la ville. Une merveilleuse adresse à Québec !

They have good food & great drinks. Definitely make a reservation if you plan to go as it cane get quite busy during dinner time. Had a salad & beef, both were great. Really recommend as a spot to end your day after strolling through Quebec city, where you can get a view of St Lawrence River (if you get a table by the window).

Bistro Le Sam was an absolute highlight of our visit. The atmosphere was vibrant yet relaxed, with stunning views overlooking the St. Lawrence River. All of our dishes were beautifully presented & tasted delicious. The service was top-notch. Our server was friendly & made great recommendations. It's a perfect spot to unwind & enjoy quality cuisine in a gorgeous setting. We'll definitely be coming back!

**review for afternoon tea at Sam**

I had the afternoon tea here today with my husband. Everything was phenomenal & service was excellent. Our server was Amir & he was so attentive & caring the entire time. Food was great, the best sandwich was the foie gras. They started the service with a glass or sparkling tea which was so good!!Amir made it even more special by the end of the tea with providing a bday dessert. He even took pictures for us without us even asking. It was the little touches of customer service that we appreciated. Thank you Fairmont & thank you most especially to Amir!

The taste of the food is not as delicious as on rating stars at Google. Our family enjoy atmosphere but the food are not so good.
We ordered two dishes of beef, one of seafood, one of beef tartare. It costs a total of $250 without a drink. Especially, the beef dishes have nerves inside & make us difficulty to eat. The pepper sauces are very salty & do not have favour of pepper.

We brought a group of 20 for a private dinner. Le Sam was easy to work with, very accommodating & professional. Our wait staff was fantastic, & we left full & happy!

Nous y sommes allées pour une boisson chaude en après-midi. Luana, notre serveuse, nous a offert un service hors pair.

L'hôte à l'entrée nous a aussi très bien accueillies.

L'ambiance est chaleureuse. Les sièges sont confortables & la vue sur le majestueux St-Laurent est imprenable.

Le thé est servi dans une théière, lui permettant d'infuser convenablement & de demeurer chaud plus longtemps.

Le chocolat chaud est personnalisé avec guimauves &/ou crème fouettée.

Je recommande assurément cet endroit.
