Absolutely amazing resteraunt! Located inside our hotel, it's reasonably priced for what you get. Expect amazing dishes. The duck wings were amazing with a great bourban glaze, & the shirt rib was so tender no knife was needed.. Truely melt on your mouth. The French soup is also stupendous & authentic. For a dinner with two expect to pay about $250 CAD for a meal, but in such a fine dining resteraunt reasably priced.
Très déçu! J'avais l'habitude d'y aller & j'étais satisfaite, mais pas cette fois-ci. J'ai réservé pour la fête de mon conjoint (j'ai bien spécifié lors de la réservation) & nous avons eu la pire table, malgré que j'ai demandé une autre table. La qualité de nourriture n'était pas à la hauteur. Je n'irai plus & je ne recommanderai plus cette place.
A more casual dining option. The art deco styling is beautiful, but the seating choices lead to an awkward dining experience for me. Food was excellent, compliments to the chef. My service experience was not great.

Nous y sommes aller en groupe. Le repas était fantastique. Un potage de courge comme entré qui était merveilleux, la joue de boeuf comme plat principal qui était fondante & le gâteau mousse comme dessert qui était juste merveilleux. Le service était simple, mais très efficace. & l'ambiance est incroyable avec une vue magnifique. Je recommande à 100%
Service sympathique & très attentionné. Mes plats étaient très généreux & succulent (salade Waldorf & Cassolette), contrairement à quelques uns choisis par mes amis. Certains plats sont trop dispendieux par rapport à la grosseur de la portion (Pétoncles & boudin, Cabillaud). Le prix des cocktails est très cher.
Love the service here. My waitress is amazing & all the staff is super nice. Food is great. But we came for the reputation of the hotel & also the great view plus my mom & best friend are the fans of Korean Drama "goblins孤單又燦爛的神--鬼怪". Everything is great.
Notre restaurant coup de coeur à Québec! Service hors pair & nourriture excellente. C'était notre troisième visite & certainement pas notre dernière. La vue sur le fleuve est à couper le souffle. J'ai mangé le tartare de boeuf; excellent. Mon mari a mangé le smoked meat. Un peut délice!!
The staff were great, seating us with no reservation on Thanksgiving Sunday, & delivering excellent service throughout dinner. Amongst our group we had the large charcuterie platter, rabbit terrine was fabulous,along with the other smoked/ cured meats…not enough bread, but extra was quickly brought over once we ran out. The duck confit drum sticks were amazing, juicy & tasty. Main course Seafood Casserole was excellent & contained way more lobster than I would have expected, based on the menu description. The only dish that didn’t live up to a 5 star rating was the Dark Beer glazed short rib. Decently cooked but no flavour & on the dry side. We also had “pink sangria” to celebrate the last warm day of summer/fall…unlike some weak versions of Sangria Sam’s bartenders mix it at high strength. A lovely experience, definitely worth repeating .
Bistro Le Sam is much more about the riverfront views & posh decor than the actual taste of the food. Only around half of the tables have views; you’ll want a reservation to secure those. The seafood casserole was great. Everything else was middling at best. I still recommend it for the views, but if you can’t get a table with a view then I don’t think it’s worth it.
Très belle expérience gustative & visuelle avec une des meilleurs tables de la verrière…je conseilles la cassolette de fruits de mer accompagnée d’un verre de Sancerre! Très bon service courtois & professionnel…À essayer de toute urgence
