We went for the tasting menu. Everything they served was great & the wines paired very well. Service was attentive but not rushed. We had such a good meal, we went back 2 nights later for the a la carte. The dessert with cheese, malt & smoked ice cream was fantastic. It's sounded a little weird but it was delicious. The cheese was like a marshmallow texture & it all went together beautifully. If in Quebec again, it will definitely go back.

Food is underwhelming, we have the 6 course tasting menu, & the pasta dish was too salty, the beef wasn't tender way too chewy, dessert too heavy for all this food. I did enjoy the amuse bouche, & brocolini, & the wine selection. I was expecting better food for the price.
Probably the best restaurant in Quebec, you need a reservation weeks in advance. Unless you are like us, preferring to dine on the earlier side. We had the tasting menu which delighted us with every course. All the ingredients are sourced locally & changes depending on availability. The service was above & beyond perfection. As was the clever wine pairing. If you have the funds, this is a "must do" meal when in Quebec city
My wife & I visited Legende for dinner last week, & the experience was phenomenal. The entire staff was engaging, informative, & attentive. The drink menu seemed expertly curated, with really smart wine pairings for their tasting menus. & the food was so good I expect this will be one of my most unforgettable dining experiences. We really admired their commitment to using ingredients sourced from within Canada, if not from Quebec specifically. They also allowed for substitutions or customizations based on dietary restrictions (not always a given with tasting courses), which we did not require but appreciated. The waitress had a keen eye in noticing my wife was pregnant, & was very sweet about it. Overall, we were so satisfied with our experience, & hope to return if/when we revisit Quebec.
I would give 10 stars if I could. The restaurant has a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. Entire staff gave excellent service! Max was fantastic. Ordered the six course Chef special with the premium wine upgrade. Everything was exceptional & very tasty. Very unique flavors. Great job to the Chefs!!! Highly recommend. Sorry I didn't post pictures. I wasn't sure etiquette to take picture in Canada.
Amazing from start to finish. Our group did the six-course tasting menu with wine pairing. We experienced a great evening of culinary effort. Our server was spectacular & even gave us recommendations for the rest of our trip. She went above & beyond with service. Our sommelier was very informative & took the time to explain all of our wines. If you have the allowance, I recommend this place. It's pricey, but well worth it.
Absolute perfection from start to finish, we opted for the tasting menu (great value at $110 for 6 courses) & purchased a bottle of wine to match all of the dishes. The staff were all very professional & had no issues conversing with us in English. Our only comment on the evening was that we wished there was a cheese course but that's a minor thing & I would recommend this place to visitors & locals.
If we could give this restaurant more than 5 stars, we absolutely would! We had a reservation at Légende last night for 6:30, & the lovely staff team was able to admit us early when we arrived. The ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful, the tasting menu was delicious, both the wine pairing option & the non alcoholic pairing option were impressive, but most of all the service from Max the Maître de & Caroline the sommelier was amazing!!! Max really described to us the idea behind the menu, & created this magical experience. The entire team that was working last night was welcoming, their descriptions of the dishes were fantastic, & they even sent us home with these adorable little maple cookies! Best restaurant we have ever eaten at. Thank you thank you thank you :)
