We had a terrific experience at Légende. The atmosphere is wonderful. It is understated & really allowed us to focus on the food & the service. Everyone on the staff were so attentive & welcoming, & were great at explaining everything. We didn't always catch the explanation at the beginning of every course, & they were glad to answer our questions afterwards.
We decided to sit at the bar, which we thought was great because we could have more face to face contact with the staff who were serving us. It felt like a more personal experience than looking up at the staff from table seats.
We both had the Tasting Menu, which was really fun, as we had no idea what to expect next. For us, everything was delicious. I had the Légende wine pairing, while my wife had the non-alcohol pairing; the non-alcohol drinks were amazing & I would definitely recommend them to anyone not having liquor.
We truly enjoyed our time at Légende as it made for a very special experience for us.
This restaurant delivers & it is easy to see why it was awarded a 2025 Michelin star. The tasting menu explores locally available products that are presented in completely creative offerings.
Every course was paired with a wine from the very knowledgeable somalier & complimented the food & vice versa. Excellent service. Friendly & informative. A very unique & delicious experience for any foodie.
AMAZING! The two of us tried the tasting menu & it was delicious, refined, & filling from beginning to end. The staff was inviting & extremely knowledgeable about everything brought to our table. The atmosphere was relaxing yet elegant. I highly recommend dining here as it is an unforgettable experience.

Such an amazing restaurant & experience! We made a reservation weeks ahead of time so we got seated pretty quick. Did the tasting menu (7 food items) & wine pairing. Each food was delicious & so unique in flavor. The servers explained each dish & wine eloquently. We got an extra item & talking time with the sous chef when they heard we were celebrating our honeymoon. Very kind staff all around. Would highly recommend this experience!
Wow what amazing food, wine & service. Went for my husbands birthday & had the tasting menu & wine pairing & we couldn't fault it. The flavours were superb & such imagination, the service was extremely good, but still relaxed. One of the best meals we have ever had. Thank you truly memorable
So we have been to legende 3 times - & it is usually amazing.
The food is incredibly tasty, with each bite having multiple rolling waves of flavour, & absolutely excellent wine pairings. On our last visit we had the full deal as usual - tasting menu & both the legende & prestige wine pairings (so we could compare the two). A couple things have definately changed the last time we came here. The first - the decor.
It has been heavily updated to a very white, upper class vibe from the dark heavily animal character decor from before. Makes it somewhat classier for date nights, albeit less eccentric.
The second - the portion size has shrunk. Substantially. Going into the dessert course tonight, I was still very hungry- with meat courses being shrunk to single (albeit exceptionally delicious, single bite). I noted to the waiter that I was still very hungry, & was surprised that they were moving to the dessert course given the low quantum (but absolutely delicious) amount of food that had been served
I asked of I could get some filler, given the meal was already over $600 for the full tasting menu with pairings, I figured they could give me something so I would at least not be actively hungry (which tbf I would not generally expect from a lower end restaurant that had underserved). I mentioned to the waitress that I was still very hungry, & she went to see what the kitchen could do.
What I got was a kinda rude manager, who just seemed to think I was a problem. When I asked for something more substantial than the tiny plates served to date, he offered to charge me 70$ for a (double - but still small) sized pasta, with heavy sarcasm. I ended up paying 35$ for an additional order of mediocre pasta (on top of the the 150$ base for the tasting menu) that left me barely sated. To note - don't order the pasta - it's a tiny portion no & defiantly not worth 35$, & pales in comparison to the rest of the menu.
Waiitress seemed mildly horrified by the outcome. Sommelier (who made pretty good selections) also seemed a little concerned. I would of honestly been happy with just some extra bread & butter- & felt ripped by the pasta & offput by the manager, who seemed to think there was something wrong with me for having had an issue. Given the treatment I got from the manager - I opted to not bother the waitress further, & we went on to have delicious, albeit again small, desserts. Generally this all would have been less of an issue if my final bill was not 800$ after tip.
I will reiterate, the rest of the meal while tiny in portion, was absolutely some of the most delightful tasty bites of food I have had. I will still give this place a 5-star rating on account of the last two times I went here being absolutely stellar experices, but I hope they can in the future, they can return to being able to fill two bellies in their full (150$/ per person) tasting menus.
Beyond words food experience! The place is astoundingly gorgeous. The service was absolutely top notch but none of the amazingness compared to how stupendous the amazing the food was. From my first oyster to the last bite of dessert, everything was delicious & perfect. I started out with the cold oysters & a martini & continued with the full tasting menu with the prestige wine pairing. I was getting so excited about the next course every time they showed up with my new glass! My one recommendation is pace yourself, they will match your pace as a course is done they waste no time getting you the next event. I should have taken a small break before the meat plate. I ended up eating that course very slowly. Still absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place!
We dined here during our visit to Quebec City & were genuinely impressed from start to finish. The restaurant was just recently renovated & the interior design is absolutely stunning in person. Photos truly do not do it justice. The atmosphere feels refined, warm, & thoughtfully curated without being pretentious.
The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, & accommodating throughout the evening. We opted for the seven course blind tasting menu & were very happy with nearly every dish presented. It was especially refreshing to see how accommodating the team was with dietary restrictions while still maintaining the integrity & creativity of the menu.
There is no doubt this restaurant deserves its Michelin star. We really appreciated the focus on locally sourced ingredients & how the menu pays homage to the culinary heritage of Quebec & the surrounding region.
Some standout dishes for us included the Prelude, particularly the mussels, the scallops, the carrot dish, & the rhubarb dessert. The accompanying sides with the lamb were also excellent. The only dish that did not quite work for us personally was the willowherb infusion with the smoked cheese cookie & honey, though we still appreciated the creativity behind it.
Overall, an exceptional dining experience & one of the highlights of our trip. We are so glad we chose to dine here & would absolutely return in the future, along with trying their sister restaurants as well.
We celebrated my birthday at Légende & it was everything I hoped for. The ambiance was exactly my style, cozy & unfussy, which made the whole evening feel comfortable & special. We chose the tasting menu with the non?alcoholic pairing, & every dish was perfect. The quality, the flavors, the creativity & everything was completely & solely delicious. Truly worth it.
The staff were attentive, kind, & genuinely welcoming. A special thank you to Justine, who surprised me with a small salty treat they made as a birthday gift. It was such a thoughtful gesture & made the night unforgettable.

This was one of my most memorable & best dining experiences of my life. I had the tasting menu with the wine pairing (the more modestly priced pairing, although you would never know it with the quality of the wine).
The meal was absolute perfection: the presentation was creative & beautiful, & the quality & complexity of the food were heavenly. It was a sensational experience; I had to eat extremely slowly to make each dish last. The wine pairing was magnificent!
I came very early for my reservation, & the only place they could fit me in was at the bar. I am so grateful that I sat at the bar. Watching the teamwork behind the scenes was wonderful & added to the enjoyment of the meal: it is clear that it is a positive & professional working environment as there was so much happiness in the interaction of staff members (regardless of age or position) that I swear you could taste this happiness in the food. It was particularly entertaining to watch the bartender create his mixed drinks; he is a true artist!
The host & the servers were polished & charming. One thing that stood out was how they interacted with each other when most of the customers wouldn't see: they were respectful with each other & smiling, even with short exchanges in the background. The way they worked as a team appeared effortless, & the flow of the service was seamless.
If you are in Quebec City, you have to go to Legende. Sit at the bar, & you will be in for one of the most memorable & enjoyable dining experiences of your life!
