A special evening on our vacation in Quebec City. The menu was creative & locally sourced in Quebec. My husband had the wine pairing which perfectly complemented his meal. A definite must for a memorable night.

For a foodie Legende was truly sublime. From beginning to finish we were treated to a gastronomic experience par excellence! Our dinner was one of the most memorable one & not only from the meal & wine pairings. No, the welcoming & service seemed, to us, second to none. If providence finds us again in Quebec City we absolutely will do everything to insure another reservation at this very fine establishment

Came here last Friday for my anniversary, 2x tasting menu, 2x wine pairings, cocktails. We were greeted as soon as we entered, & brought to a table. We settled in, got water, & the manager came back & told us actually we need that table, & moved us to another table.
Ordered two cocktails to start, one was wrong. As soon as I brought it up, the server corrected it & the new drink came out quickly. All tasted great & were beautiful.
Food was good, courses brought out with great timing. Tasty & beautiful. My favourite was the lamb, my husbands was the scallop & uni. Unfortunately our server couldn't remember the ingredients in one of the dishes. After that, we seemed to get a new server.
As it was our anniversary, we were brought into the kitchen to see the behind the scenes. I thought we were in trouble at first, but it was really fun!
When the bill came, the incorrect drink was also charged. Again, as soon as I noted it, it was corrected & a new bill brought.
Overall it just didn't feel like a Michelin experience. From being shuffled around to different tables, incorrect drinks & bills, & servers who can't note the ingredients, the $600 final bill didn't feel worth it. We left feeling a bit unsatisfied. For the price & the experience I had, I wouldn't return, even though the food was lovely.

Great overall dining experience. Everything was served & presented extremely well & the food was excellent. I was a little disappointed with the main course (lamb), it was well made but felt a little underwhelming compared to the other dishes. The wine pairing was good, but it felt expensive for 5 small glasses of wine.

I loved it so much last year that I came back again. We had the tasting menu with wine pairing, highly recommend it! It was my birthday & I got to visit the kitchen & meet the team. That was quite special! Thank you & I shall visit again :)

Such an incredible food & dining experience. From the stunning simple yet elegant setting to the incredible service, there was nothing that was overlooked at Legends. The food tasting with the wine pairing was a dining experience not to be missed. Any lover of food will remember this night for a long time to come!

So when people talk about Michelin star or fine dining... this is that. We had the tasting menu with the wine pairing & it was truly exceptional probably the best fine dining experience I've had outside of a NYC.

& it was the only place I can remember that was this consistent -- where each dish was great or better. Like'I'd like to have this again soon good' vs'Oh that was interesting' or'I think someone probably liked that but it wasn't for me'. Just'this is really really good & I think anyone would like it'.

It helped that most of the plates had 2-3 things that paired extremely well together. & the wine actually worked extremely well with the food (we got the Legende pairing which is the cheap one).

I will say that, while the food is elevated, the place is not fussy. There was a lady sitting by the herself at the bar, there were lots of couples & people laughing.

If you're in QC this is a must try. When we went ~17:30 there we seats at the bar so you might be able to get in without a reservation?

Every single bite was special, & the best carrot (!) I've eaten in my sixty years of eating carrots (many at excellent restaurants). If you want an extraordinary meal in Quebec City, this is the place. BUT where the restaurant really shines is in its staff. The wait staff is attentive & knowledgeable & downright joyful about the food- I truly believed there was nothing they'd rather be doing. Also, the wine pairing completely on point & each wine complex & deep & delicious.

There are not enough stars to rate our chef's table experience. The blind tasting was everything I hoped for & more. Service was impeccable & attentive. Every single bite we ate was delicious, the chef's explanations were fascinating. We chose the mocktail & Legende wine paring. The mocktails were innovative, the bartender came to explain each drink as it was served. The sommelier explained each wine pairing. It was fun to taste each dish with both the wine & mocktail. Legende is a beautiful restaurant, creatively designed for a wonderful experience. The kitchen staff & chef smiled throughout our dinner, seeing the kitchen staff work together was impressive. The kitchen is immaculate, pride in work shows with every detail.
This was a splurge dinner experience that we will not forget.
