Soirée exceptionnelle, tous les plats étaient tout simplement délicieux. Les ingrédients étaient vraiment mis en valeurs & tout s'harmonisait parfaitement. Mention spécial pour le plat de pétoncle fumée, ainsi que les cavatelli sauce crème & champignon, j'y rêve encore parfois la nuit. Service incroyable également de la part de Samson, tous les plats étaient bien expliqué, les cocktails délicieux & il nous a vraiment fait sentir comme à la maison. C'est vraiment un super concept de restaurant, je le recommande absolument. Nous avons déjà hâte d'y retourner!

If I could give Lueur 10 stars I would. It was our first trip to QC & coming around the holidays, a lot of places I had wanted to try were booked. Saw Lueur on my second round of internet investigation, & so glad all my first picks were booked because Lueur was our favorite dining experience! We loved the service concept - only 2 seatings per nite. Bar service thats small, intimate, yet casual. The entire service is executed by 3 folks who rotate cooking, service, & bartending each night. The egalitarian, in-it -together feel translated to each bite. The host on our end of the bar, Terry, was so great making us feel welcome, explaining each dish, & approaching all he did with passion. We had the special pre fixe holiday menu vs their usual a la carte & each dish was better than the last. My husband & I were so impressed. Showcasing French technique with local ingredients, but nothing overdone. To say I love food is an understatement. Food is what I live for, but I am often disappointed by places that are highly acclaimed but feel too stuffy or like it's more about the gimmick & flash than good, simple, local good executed with soul. Lueur had soul in spades.

Lueur truly delivers a memorable dining experience. The cozy bar-style seating might not be the most comfortable, but it creates an intimate atmosphere between guests & the chefs. The food is excellent: the mix of flavors & the freshness of the ingredients fully justify the price.

The menu is quite limited, but the options are well chosen & will certainly satisfy different tastes. Dishes are served in a tapas format, perfect for sharing. However, this is not the ideal spot for large groups: seating is at the counter, which makes group conversations unpractical.

The biggest downside, in my opinion, is that the small space & poorly isolated kitchen leave you smelling like the food when you leave. So, if you have plans afterward, you might want to think twice before choosing Lueur.

Despite that, we had a great time, & will surely keep the restaurant in our list for date nights!

Superbe expérience grâce à la qualité & la fraîcheur des ingrédients, la créativité des recettes & le travail en cuisine. Nourriture gastronomique dans une ambiance décontractée avec un service chaleureux. La formule de commande des plats à l'unité de style bar à tapas permet à chacun de composer son menu librement. Une bonne adresse à découvrir sans hésitations.

Vraiment très agréable. L'apparente simplicité du menu est vite dépassé lors de la première bouché. Ingrédients de qualités, harmonie des saveurs & techniques irréprochables rendent les plats fabuleux. L'enthousiasme & la passion transparaît tout au long du service. J'y retournerai au plus vite.
