About

The Maison Livernois has a terrace of about fifty places, in addition to some 90 places inside. On the menu are pub classics, such as burgers, but also eight dishes inspired by the flavors of the world. The name La Maison Livernois is inspired by a family that has already been very involved in Quebec City. She founded the first photography studio in 1854 in the building that now houses the St. Patrick's Pub. Each gin and vodka brewed by Top Resto Group will bear the name of one of the members of this family. The first being the Jules-Ernest gin. Three recipes are already developed. In addition to food, La Maison Livernois is a tasting place. There are many kinds of Quebec gins and a laboratory to educate people.

Fantastic service & our Christmas dinner was wonderful. We highly recommend the seafood casserole & the Korean Short Ribs. The dessert pudding with ice cream was outstanding. When we return to Quebec for a visit, this restaurant will be our first to return to.

Dessert was great! Fish & chips was covered in soggy doughy breading. Burger was excellent but meat didn't cover the bun it was so small.

Le décor est très beau, mais la musique était trop forte pour pouvoir discuter avec nos amis. Nous étions deux couples.
J'avais demandé un coin confortable dans ma réservation, mais cela n'a pas été considéré. Les Nachos étaient bons. Ce n'est pas l'endroit pour goûter de la pieuvre une première fois. J'en mange souvent & celle-ci n'était pas bien préparée. Elle était dure & sèche & accompagnée & recouverte d'une grande quantité d'humus. J'avais l'impression de manger une purée d'épicerie sans biscottes.
Les hamburgers étaient bien ordinaires & l'option végétarienne était peu diversifiée.
Les serveurs étaient sympathiques, mais oubliaient de nous remplir le vin & ne nous ont pas offert de dessert; il a fallu le demander.

Good service. Great gin selection — we had a delicious martini. We had delicious fresh oysters & both our desserts were great — the crème brûlée & the bread pudding with ice cream. Main course we had short ribs & Coquille. The atmosphere is very nice inside. Next time I'd like to try the burger — looked delicious.

Came for dinner & it did not disappoint. The Melting Brie is absolutely divine & very much like dessert before the meal. The Korean short rib was braised to perfection, falling off the bone & paired fantastically with the truffle potatoes & vegetables. The server made fantastic wine pairing suggestions with each course (though I did go with an IPA for the brie; though I'd recommend a pilsner or tripel instead). Service was friendly & attentive. Never had any issues getting help if/when needed. I will certainly be returning, as this was a meal I won't soon forget, for the best of reasons!

Très bel endroit, super service, grand choix de gins , vins d'importation privé, bières en fut. Mention pour les fondues Migneron / canard & le dessert Tartufo pistache excellent.

Très grand choix de gins pour les amateurs de ce spiritueux ainsi que d'autres boissons alcoolisées. Nous avons adoré tous les plats servis, des entrées au dessert, tout était excellent. Bonne ambiance & excellent service, nous allons revenir c'est certain!

Service très lent. Le sangria blan fait avec leur gin maison était décevant car il y avait de la grenadine qui laissait pas la place au goût du gin citron & thyme. Mon repas, les short ribs, n'était pas très chaud. Notre dessert, le mi-cuit, était totalement cuit. Si le serveur avait demandé comment était notre repas, je lui aurais dit.

La nourriture & les drinks sont délicieux. Mais l'absence d'un menu midi rend la facture salée (126 $ incluant taxes & pourboire pour deux repas principaux, deux drink, 2 desserts & 1 café) les assiettes de grosseur modeste nous aussi laisse' sur notre appétit (du moins pour la canette & la truite). J'y retournerai certainement en formule 5 à 7
