About

The Maison Livernois has a terrace of about fifty places, in addition to some 90 places inside. On the menu are pub classics, such as burgers, but also eight dishes inspired by the flavors of the world. The name La Maison Livernois is inspired by a family that has already been very involved in Quebec City. She founded the first photography studio in 1854 in the building that now houses the St. Patrick's Pub. Each gin and vodka brewed by Top Resto Group will bear the name of one of the members of this family. The first being the Jules-Ernest gin. Three recipes are already developed. In addition to food, La Maison Livernois is a tasting place. There are many kinds of Quebec gins and a laboratory to educate people.

J'ai commandé une poutine au canard & c'était plus une poutine au grain de poivre.. je comprends que c'est fait avec une sauce aux poivres mais il y a une limite à tout… ça m'a prit au moins 45 minutes à la manger parce que je devais faire attention à pas manger tous les grains de poivres en même temps. Enplus avec la lumière hyper tamisée, c'était pas super facile à voir. Je suis pas du genre à retourner mes assiettes, surtout que le goût était bon, mais en y repensant, j'aurais dû.

Après l'avoir mentionné au serveur je me suis fais répondre: ah mais c'est normal, c'est la sauce au poivre. Ya normal & normal la ! Une petite attention aurait été appréciée, mais, non, je n'ai rien reçu.. je ne vais malheureusement pas y retourner ou le recommander à d'autres personnes.

We stopped by this place for a quick little drink & a few bites. We were not disappointment. Their poutine was absolutely fantastic. We also had a pizza which was good. We loved the gin they provided us. A great place to do a gin tasting.

L'accueil est vraiment bienveillant, professionnel & avec beaucoup de gentillesse. C'est la première fois que nous mangions une poutine & nous avons vraiment pas été déçu.
Le restaurant est super charmant & bien placé 👍

Some of the best poutine I had while in Quebec. It didnt seem like a lot but I was full after eating it. Kids enjoyed their poutine as well.

Washrooms were handy since its gender neutral side by side. Made it easy to take kids to washroom.

Family popped in a for a quick lunch. Decided to share a bunch of appetizers...bad choice. While the atmosphere was nice the food was over priced for frozen food that's been reheated & dressed up. $19 for 3...three shrimp appetizer!!..shrimp same as any frozen grocery store breaded shrimp. Same with the calamari. Poutine was fine, but nothing special. Waygu Dumpings...decent. Disappointing.

Wonderful place for lunch. I had the Confit Duck Poutine which was delicious, followed by the Pouding Chômeur & an Espresso, accompanied by a local Lager. It was a lovely meal with friendly, helpful service from sweet Emily. Great place to chill out & hide from the heat too!

In the heart of old Quebec City the last stop of our food tour took us to Maison Livernois. What a great experience. We enjoyed poutine in their barrel room & & some great gin. We liked it so much that we stuck around for some more cocktails.

Wow! C'est plus qu'un simple 5 etoiles! C'est une expérience qui devient une place de choix!
J'ai jamais vue autant de variétés de Gin avec un conseiller ,Olivier, extraordinaire, professionnel & passionné!
Je vais revenir!
C'est maintenant ma place à Quebec!
La poutine au canard.... je suis sans mot, allez-s'y, c'est un incontournable!
