About

The Maison Livernois has a terrace of about fifty places, in addition to some 90 places inside. On the menu are pub classics, such as burgers, but also eight dishes inspired by the flavors of the world. The name La Maison Livernois is inspired by a family that has already been very involved in Quebec City. She founded the first photography studio in 1854 in the building that now houses the St. Patrick's Pub. Each gin and vodka brewed by Top Resto Group will bear the name of one of the members of this family. The first being the Jules-Ernest gin. Three recipes are already developed. In addition to food, La Maison Livernois is a tasting place. There are many kinds of Quebec gins and a laboratory to educate people.

Although a few well informed tourists may dine here, his is very much a place where the locals eat. The menu selections were quite eclectic but every dish we shared was spectacular. The specialty cocktails/martinis were superb. Cannot recommend this place strongly enough!!!

The service was slow. We waited half an hour for the main course after the appetizer.
In food, I'd highly recommend Melting Brie & Fried Shrimps. The burger was overcooked. Fish n chips is good too.

Came for dinner & it did not disappoint. The Melting Brie is absolutely divine & very much like dessert before the meal. The Korean short rib was braised to perfection, falling off the bone & paired fantastically with the truffle potatoes & vegetables. The server made fantastic wine pairing suggestions with each course (though I did go with an IPA for the brie; though I'd recommend a pilsner or tripel instead). Service was friendly & attentive. Never had any issues getting help if/when needed. I will certainly be returning, as this was a meal I won't soon forget, for the best of reasons!

We had two incredibly delicious meals. We enjoyed our first meal so much we came back the next night. The short rib dish was excellent as well as the pork tomahawk & the scallop dish & the burger. Would highly recommend!

Excellent cocktails! La nourriture était excellente. Le service n'était pas le meilleur mais c'est un peu partout pareil! C'est à recommander à y retourner c'est certain.
