About

The Maison Livernois has a terrace of about fifty places, in addition to some 90 places inside. On the menu are pub classics, such as burgers, but also eight dishes inspired by the flavors of the world. The name La Maison Livernois is inspired by a family that has already been very involved in Quebec City. She founded the first photography studio in 1854 in the building that now houses the St. Patrick's Pub. Each gin and vodka brewed by Top Resto Group will bear the name of one of the members of this family. The first being the Jules-Ernest gin. Three recipes are already developed. In addition to food, La Maison Livernois is a tasting place. There are many kinds of Quebec gins and a laboratory to educate people.

We had tried the poutine at this restaurant while on a food & culture tour. We knew we wanted to go back! As our last meal in Quebec, it was perfect! The gravy is savory; the fries are perfectly cooked, & the cheese is squeaky--the best in Quebec City! Our waiter was friendly & knew we were in a hurry so made sure we had our meal in a timely fashion. My only frustration was how loud the music was where we were seated. I could not hear the hostess or waiter very well.

Je trouve qu'il y en a pour tous les goûts. Le menu peut autant offrir des choix plus abordables avec des plats plus communs, comme des hamburgers, que des assiettes découvertes qui se placent dans une autre braquette. C'était excellent! Beau choix de gins aussi, à réessayer ultérieurement!

Lumières défectueuses au dessus de notre table (beaucoup trop sombre). Serveuse en formation manquant d'encadrement. Nourriture excellente! Nos visites précédentes étaient plus réussies.

Coupon Tuango (table d'hôte pour 2 à 99$+tx+pourboire) qui nous ont fait découvrir ce restaurant sur la rue Saint-Jean. Beau restaurant, bonne ambiance situé directement dans le coeur du vieux Québec. Le service était lent, mais notre serveuse était très gentille. La salade césar n'est pas coupé (feuille complète) ni mélangé avec la sauce. Concept qui m'échappe & qui rend l'expérience d'entrée moins agréable. Les frites étaient bonne, mais sans sel & froide. Bonne entrecôte avec sauce aux poivres. Dessert à partager de 3 petites truffes. Très petite portion pour 2! À essayer à nouveau éventuellement.

Moi & mon conjoint avons découvert ce resto grâce à Tuango. Belle ambiance & beau resto! La nourriture est très bonne. J'ai mangé le carapaccio de boeuf.. un des meilleur que j'ai goûté dans ma vie. Les pappardelles étaient excellentes j'ai trouvé ça plutôt unique en son genre. Par contre, petite portion au niveau du dessert, j'ai pris les truffles au cheesecake. Bonne & belle expérience en général 😊.
