Wandered in here by chance ... just wow! Excellent food (seafood linguine & pesto pappardelle), just beautiful! Add to that a world-class wine (Sauvignon blanc/verdejo)& perfectly attentive service, the result is a top -class evening!

While visiting Old Quebec, staff at our Hôtel recommended this restaurant. When we arrived outdoor seating was full so we got the bar. The bar had an amazing collection (especially Gin). We ordered the Duck Poutine & it was amazing! Glad we stopped in!

The food was great. The service not so. We waited at the front entrance for 5-6 minutes waiting to be seated while several staff walked past without any acknowledgment. Once finally seated we ordered a bottle of wine which took over 15 minutes to arrive at our table (& this only after we asked a second server if it was coming). The restaurant was not overly busy so it was not as if the staff were run off their feet during this time. The ambiance is nice but the lighting left us feeling we were in a very dark place. We asked for at least a candle of some form for our table but were told there was nothing so we took a cue from a neighbouring table & rigged up our own little light using a water glass & a cellphone. At no point were we asked how we were enjoying our dinner. As beautiful as your restaurant is & as well located as it is, I do not believe I could recommend it to friends or feel that I would come back. This was our second visit having eaten there a year or so ago & liked it enough to try a second time, but I think we are now done. I hope this helps. We are travellers from New Brunswick who stop over night in Quebec City 3-4 times a year en route to Montreal.

Lovely place but nothing special with the food. I tried the fish burger & it tasted normal. Just nothing special. The service is a bit slow
