About

The Maison Livernois has a terrace of about fifty places, in addition to some 90 places inside. On the menu are pub classics, such as burgers, but also eight dishes inspired by the flavors of the world. The name La Maison Livernois is inspired by a family that has already been very involved in Quebec City. She founded the first photography studio in 1854 in the building that now houses the St. Patrick's Pub. Each gin and vodka brewed by Top Resto Group will bear the name of one of the members of this family. The first being the Jules-Ernest gin. Three recipes are already developed. In addition to food, La Maison Livernois is a tasting place. There are many kinds of Quebec gins and a laboratory to educate people.

Just a little disappointed in the food. The charred octopus was dry & cold. Frites soggy. Vegan salad was pedestrian (& the additional mozzarrela nowhere to be seen). Duck wings very dry.
Brie was beautifully cooked but a little too much maple syrup for our taste. D'escargot bundle was brilliant!

We had dinner there & enjoyed our time. The vibe & music were awesome, really set the mood. The food was tasty, though a tad pricey. They've got a good variety of drinks, especially gin & spirits. The staff was super friendly, but the service was a bit slow.

We waited over 20 min for waitress to say hello. Then she never came back until I flagged her down for a box & to pay. The music was loud & weird & the hostess was cold & rude when we arrived. The table was wobbly at best & had no lights around it. Everything was very dark. Would not recommend

Service was slow in general. We finished with the dishes & they took 30 minutes to pick them up. We gave 15 % tip, & the waitress was kind of surprised ! . Food was good

Great food & gin. But our waitress disappeared & the poor woman who inherited our table was put in a no win situation. She did the best she could.

Our first waitress took our dessert & then it came out before our entrees. We sent it back because once we were done we waited & it never came until i asked for the check.

I'd go again but would want a better service.

Only had the gin tasting menus. Highly recommended, let them surprise you. :) All of them were great & lots of variety. They advertise 200 gins & don't disappoint
