About

The Maison Livernois has a terrace of about fifty places, in addition to some 90 places inside. On the menu are pub classics, such as burgers, but also eight dishes inspired by the flavors of the world. The name La Maison Livernois is inspired by a family that has already been very involved in Quebec City. She founded the first photography studio in 1854 in the building that now houses the St. Patrick's Pub. Each gin and vodka brewed by Top Resto Group will bear the name of one of the members of this family. The first being the Jules-Ernest gin. Three recipes are already developed. In addition to food, La Maison Livernois is a tasting place. There are many kinds of Quebec gins and a laboratory to educate people.

Enjoyable evening with good food & attentive service. Should note however that menus are not given, instead a bar code to access these online. It took longer to login to those rather than just read a paper version. Secondly, some tables were unnecessarily close to the entrance, leaving newcomers to stare at people eating, which was disruptive to the experience. A good menu all round but some main dishes were substantially smaller than others. Four stars given though because the food quality is good, the choices excellent & the service levels high.

Our overall experience was great. Friendly employees, smiling & kind & the service was great. The food for the price was ok. We were excited to try the duck eggs Benedict, however the eggs were cooks a bit too much & the yoke did not flow when poked. Our other choice was the regular eggs & bacon & potato combination which was delicious. The smoothies that comes with the breakfast meals, were delicious!! & the Americano coffee 100% hit the marks. The patio is in a nice area just out of the busy area of the street which keeps you entertain with people watching but you are tucked away not to be super annoyed. Would like to go back & try their gin & dinenr menu to see how the food is...

J'aurais donné 4 étoiles & 1/2 si cela avait été possible , nous avons passé un très bon moment, le service vraiment agréable, la nourriture excellente & le tout dans un bel environnement. Nous y retournerions sans hésiter.
