About

The Maison Livernois has a terrace of about fifty places, in addition to some 90 places inside. On the menu are pub classics, such as burgers, but also eight dishes inspired by the flavors of the world. The name La Maison Livernois is inspired by a family that has already been very involved in Quebec City. She founded the first photography studio in 1854 in the building that now houses the St. Patrick's Pub. Each gin and vodka brewed by Top Resto Group will bear the name of one of the members of this family. The first being the Jules-Ernest gin. Three recipes are already developed. In addition to food, La Maison Livernois is a tasting place. There are many kinds of Quebec gins and a laboratory to educate people.

Food was good but the service was ridiculously slow, we waited 20 minutes for our 2 cocktails to arrive, after the bill was given to us ( we had finished all our food & drinks at this time) we waited another 20 minutes for our waiter to return so we could pay our bill & we could leave.

Tout était parfait sauf qu'au prix du gin le tonic devrait être inclus dans le prix.
23.50$ pour un verre c'est quand même dispendieux.

Nous avions décidé de visiter la ville de Québec pour une fin de semaine. Nos recherches pour un bon restaurant a ambiance familial dans le vieux Québec se sont abouties sur ce joli restaurant pub Maison Livernois . Nous avons donc fait une réservation la veille. On s'est presenté au Livernois le Samedi vers 19h30 pour un repas avec ma conjointe & mon enfant de 2 ans. L'accueil sest bien passé ainsi que l'apéro & les entrées. Le serveur nous a bien conseillé sur les vins ainsi que la description des repas. Cependant, nous avons attendu 1 heure & 30 minutes avant de pouvoir enfin recevoir nos plats principaux. Cela était insatisfaisant pour nous, surtout lorsqu'un enfant de 2 ans assis pendant ce long délai cela devient interminable.

Maison Livernois provides a very relaxed & comfortable evening with an excellent patio to enjoy your cocktails. Our meals more than met expectations having ordered the short ribs, beautifully tender, & Coquille Livernois, that came piping hot & full of seafood, delicious! You must start your evening with a gin tasting of Quebec gins & finish the night with the house special. Alex thank you!
