Tomamos café no hotel , valeu pela experiência. Mas o buffet de comida nao é muito igual a de hotéis comuns. Valeu mesmo
Pela experiência de estar tomando café no Fairmont
Overrated probably. Food wasn't that good at the hi tea.
Some of the pastries we got were different from what others were served. Been to many fairmonts but this was a disappointment..probably not a good chef for the hi tea sandwiches & food.
High tea was disappointing. Food was not fresh. Unacceptable for the price! Server was adamant that we could not earn Accor points just for eating at the restaurant despite a clear ad in the menu stating the opposite. Felt like a tourist trap. Not what you can expect for a Fairmont property.
Dec2024 Indoor terrace restaurant of the Fairmont Quebec nestled atop a prominent hillside of the city. This resto is where guests would be having their morning dinners. Holiday season was busy & bustling as guests came in droves & queues arw much the norm. The food is basic Western European style with a slant to some Canadian fare such as their ham & meat pie. They also offer some in house honey & jams. For a buffet it is standard. It is really the service that is the stat of the place. Quick, efficient & friendly, the servers are very able to handle the large crowds who gather each day to dine here. The receptionists are to be commended for their poise in managing the queues. The atmosphere is a 5 IF you find yourself in the terrace area near the windows which give you a wonderful view. Inside the interiors are understandably dated due to all the foot traffic. A good way to start the day's walking im Quebec City.
Solid hotel breakfast buffet with comforting breakfast classics & friendly service. Came here for breakfast during our recent stay at the hotel. Given the size of the Fairmont Frontenac, I anticipated its restaurant to be busy, especially in the morning. However, I was surprised to find out that it was almost empty when we arrived at around 7:30 AM. The buffet selections were fairly basic. It featured a decent range of savory & sweet items, including waffles, scrambled eggs, breakfast pastries, fruits, & an array of charcuterie like prosciutto & cheese. So I ended up getting only one plate, & some of the standouts included the freshly squeezed apple juice, the ham slices with horseradish sauce, & the croissant. However, the other items on my plate were fairly average in comparison. One of the servers insisted that we try their maple pudding, & it turned out to be a nice sugary finish to our meal. Its flavor & texture reminded me of honey cornbread drenched in maple syrup, & its comforting & homey taste was quite pleasing. For guests at the Fairmont Frontenac with complimentary breakfast included, the Place Dufferin buffet is a convenient & satisfying option. However, if you have to pay out of pocket for the buffet, I'd suggest exploring other breakfast or brunch restaurants around town as there are so many better options.
Enjoyed the high tea which included a starter of a tiny panna cotta, two scones, one savoury, one regular with jam & cream, finger sandwiches of cucumber & another of smoked salmon, some prawns in a small pastry shell, duck terrine on a small brioche bun, pesto cream cheese on a small round of rye & three very small sweet pastries. It came on a stand, but not a proper high tea stand. It was OK. The high tea at the Fairmont Lake Louise was much prettier & had better food. Service was fabulous & great atmosphere which included a pianist, but were seated quite close to other patrons.
