Fantastic buffet; our server, Jonathan, was very, very friendly (perfect example of how all the people of Quebec have been) & gracious of my attempt to parlez le Francais (Je ne parle pas le Francais depuis trent ans). The food was fresh & very tasty & the Maple Bacon so very good. We will return, merci!
High tea was disappointing. Food was not fresh. Unacceptable for the price! Server was adamant that we could not earn Accor points just for eating at the restaurant despite a clear ad in the menu stating the opposite. Felt like a tourist trap. Not what you can expect for a Fairmont property.
Beautiful afternoon tea with a delicious selection of pastries & a wide variety of tea. Atmosphere was calm with a lovely piano player offering background music.
Nourriture excellente Service excellent & ambiance excellent Parcontre javait une carte cadeau, je ne pense pas payer 50$/prs pour un dejeuner Mais tres beau cadeau a offrir a des proche
Dec2024 Indoor terrace restaurant of the Fairmont Quebec nestled atop a prominent hillside of the city. This resto is where guests would be having their morning dinners. Holiday season was busy & bustling as guests came in droves & queues arw much the norm. The food is basic Western European style with a slant to some Canadian fare such as their ham & meat pie. They also offer some in house honey & jams. For a buffet it is standard. It is really the service that is the stat of the place. Quick, efficient & friendly, the servers are very able to handle the large crowds who gather each day to dine here. The receptionists are to be commended for their poise in managing the queues. The atmosphere is a 5 IF you find yourself in the terrace area near the windows which give you a wonderful view. Inside the interiors are understandably dated due to all the foot traffic. A good way to start the day's walking im Quebec City.
Afternoon tea with 6 of us was a highlight of our short time in Quebec City. All details were excellent from the china, tea selections, savory & sweet delicacies & very good service.
We were so lucky to be able to get a table for high tea at this lovely location! There was a cancelation, & Miguel was able to give us a table in the room overlooking the terrace. There was a wonderful pianist with live music. The tasty bites on all of the courses were delectable! I had the cream Earl gray tea, which is a specialty of the restaurant. I wasn't sure when our waitress said there were hints of maple also in the flavor. It turned out to be so creamy & delicious! I ended up buying some at the store in the hotel. Our waitress was so personable & took time to talk with us & tell us about life in Quebec. This was a not to be missed experience!
