Great beer with decent price & nice outdoor seats. The building was made in 1600s.
10 out of 10 if you like a hole in the wall divey good time!!
Originally I had looked up to see where in Quebec City had good live music.. we arrived a little late so I don't know if the music had already stopped or maybe we just went on an off night but I am so glad that we stopped in here! Bartender recommended the beer that I had. I ended up having two pints! it's a local beer, St Ambroise Cream Ale!! Amazing!! 15 years ago this is the exact type of bar. I would've stayed that all night had a great time & made friends with the bartenders… They were so sweet & helpful. I'm old now so we cut the night short. Nostalgia vibes are there for real!! Thanks for bringing the memories back
The staff is wonderful! We got there at 11:30am,had a couple of red lagers beers
They come with rye whiskey with maple syrup! Holy moly was that great !!!
The small bar is great to check out !

Honestly a terrific spot to stop by to escape the cold. Slight wait as I made the mistake of going right with the lunch rush but it went by quickly with the fire going right beside the door. Attentive service, fair prices, cold beer, warm atmosphere, & good food (or the smoked meat sandwich at least). Will be back if I am back in town. Very interesting spot with the historic vaulted ceilings, cultivates a palpable vibe.
Amazing place with very helpful & friendly staff! Good selection of beers, reasonable prices & you can try there maple whisky! I will visit this place again!
This is a wonderful place! Sitting by the cobbled street, drinking a beer (about $9) & eating the best French Onion soup ($14) I've ever tasted. Friendly service, & even being patient with my terrible French (though their English was fluent). Absolutely awesome & very reasonably priced! This will be one of my best memories of Quebec.
If one place to go for a beer & shot this is it. Little the place not the beer, but great history.
